Now that i think about it, this is probably the most rest Trump has gotten in while.
The price of being President of the United States.
This is embarrassing
Some asshole gets laid out for being an asshole, don't see the problem.
I don't know why that leftist thought it would be a good idea to play that song though, i guess he thought he could get away with.
Because the Left has being allowed far too long to start shit without facing the consequences.

Shocking news coming out of the Trump White House. Is it being used for immune system support? For all natural energy supplements? As a prophylactic?

Yes that's right. Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has tested positive for cocaine Covid19.

So. How about something from my neck of the woods?

You know that shitty thing that the news media does, where they fact check the claims of only one side? Sometimes they do the fact check right in the beginning of the article as they lay out the two viewpoints on an issue. Rarely is it so blatant and stupid as this:

"Don't worry. We're not going to wave graphic images of sexual intercourse in your kindergartner's face. That can wait until the fourth grade."

WTF...

I think sex ed before middle school is questionable as is, but kindergarten...that's fucked up.

I don't actually have any data to back this up (beyond my personal experience), but my assumption is that even at that young of an age, if the kid has any access to the internet at all, they probably already know way more than they should about sex. Therefor there's an argument to be made, I feel, that providing sex education for kindergartners is an attempt at damage control; in that they already know about sex, so best to try and provide context to what they've learned, and try to make sure they don't assume that the real world works under porn logic.

That argument about 'damage control due to internet porn' might fly for kids in 4-5th grade.

But kindergarten?

Sorry, I don't think the percentage of kids at that age, who know what sex is, is high enough to justify putting it in a school curiculum. That is something parents should handle, if it is an issue at all.

Understandable; I was just trying to explain what the logic in it might be, beyond the people arguing in favor of sex ed at that young of an age simply being "fucked up". I know it's hard to remember in this polarized day and age, but just because you think someone is wrong, it does not necessarily follow that their argument must also have evil intentions behind it.

When it comes to academia and 'woke' stuff like this, I no longer am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to admins and school officials.

They may not have 'evil' intentions, but I find it hard to see any reasonable 'innocent' intentions in this.

Your argument has some merit. But if that's what the school officials are going for, they should be more honest about why they see this as a 'good' idea, instead of cloaking it in admin speak.

If they actually believed it truly was a good idea, they’d be completely open as to why it is so and allow the parents to watch

I agree that they should be more honest and transparent, but unfortunately they don't seem to believe that the parents have a right to be involved in the education of their kids. That's a separate issue though.

Not necessarily; again, they probably just believe that they're not accountable to the parents, so why bother?
