Really? Can you cite a statistic on how many Dems vs how many Reps he funds, and to what total amount?
No, I can't.

When I hear that Soros contributed to the campaign it's often meant to disparage the candidate and may or may not be true.

His net worth is dwarfed by the likes of Musk, Bezos, Gates, &c.

Soros helped to he Nazi's find and deport/kill other jews in Hungry when he was a child.

Soros rarely gives money to anyone in the Right who isn't a controlled opposition/RINO like Romney, so please stop acting like he's just another donor.

Edit: Speaking of Soros:

Soros is a horrible person. That I will not disagree with.

Romney, OTOH, is not a horrible person. He's about as centrist as a Republican gets and I would gladly vote for him if he were to run for Indiana Governer.

Mike Pence? I know people who voted for Trump just to get rid of Pence. He calls his wife "Mother", and that's not cool.

Romney is hardly 'centrist'; if he wasn't Mormon, and had to be elected by Mormons, he'd be a hardcore Dem.

As it is he's about the biggest RINO in DC.

I'm a Democrat. To me, calling someone a RINO is "You say that like it's a bad thing".
It is, considering how insane the Dems have become.

That you still are willing to ID as a Dem with all the shit they've pulled the last several years does not say good things about you.

And I say that as someone from a hard D household who is now a Registered Independent because the Dems went insane in 2016 and haven't gotten any better.

In all honesty I think the best President the US has had during my lifetime was Carter way back when I was still in diapers.

Mom says "He's a good man who was dealt a shit hand."

Trump is the best president of my life. I was never a huge trumper either, I don't like his personality.... but he had the world getting along, signing peace deals, respecting US strength, we were energy independent, had record low unemployment, wages were rising naturally, and by most metrics the economy was absolutely stellar. You had to try to not make money in this country. Trump's era were golden years.

But those mean tweets though....

meanwhile the Taliban get to hang out on Twitter

Twitter being politically biased doesn't mean anything about Trump
If the Taliban can comply with Twitter's TOS I have no issues with them using it because, welp, the 1st Amendment says:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Twitter is not Congress, just as The Sietch is not Congress.

Ah, another Carter fanboy; that explains so much.

My late mother was also a massive fan of Carter's, and was a hardcore Dems who couldn't stand pretty much any Right Wing positions, and was so shocked when Trump won in 2016, because she, like you, was out of touch with the way modern politics is evolving, and my father wanted Trump gone in 2020 no matter what it took because he believed everything Trump said was a lie.

I know what it is to debate and attempt to deprogram Dems like you, and how rarely it succeeds, because Dems will almost never admit they are wrong or being misled.

I'll have you know that I voted for Bob Dole in '96.

I have my own opinions and I'm not the "Dems like you" you think you need to deprogram.

I have never voted straight ticket Democrat.

That you would want to vote for Romney, and admire Carter for anything other than Hab for Humanity, shows you need to be deprogrammed from the Dem bullshit you obvious still buy.

Also, voting for Dole instead of Clinton...was that supposed to make you seem more intelligent or non-partisan? Most of the Right didn't even like Dole, which is why he lost.

Dole had been the Senate Republican Leader for a bit more than a decade back then so don't even try to claim that "Most of the Right didn't even like Dole".

Hmm...the impression I had was that Dole was lukewarm in terms of charisma, which is Ok in the Senate, but doesn't work for a POTUS, and that his support on the Right was a lot smaller than expected. he certainly doesn't seem to be remembered fondly, or much at all, by the modern Right.

But I was all of 7 when that happened, so maybe he was more popular at the time than it seems now.
