It’s my heritage that my ancestors helped to build up and worked for and made better. That they fought for and died for. I love this nation unconditionally. It’s a legacy I want my children and their children and their children’s children to also be a part of. It’s something I want to do the best for to be a part of and to live a life that those who came before me, if they could see me, would be proud of me as their great grandchild and great great grandchild if they could see me today. Even if it had nothing to offer me, even if the majority of the population here now were to hate me, even if it became the worst place to live in, I will still love it and never want to leave it. That’s what it is to have a love for nation.

The Right is the side that defends the 1st and 2nd Amendment (really the whole Constitution, where as the Dems just see it as an impedment to their utopia), defends the lives of the unborn (yes, I actually am pro-Life), tries to rein in frivolous/unnecessary regulations/taxes, defends freedom of all religions (not just Christianity), freed the slaves (Dems were Confederates, not the GOP), and established the US Nat'l Parks system.

The Right is so much more than just 'Christian' or 'white', yet that seems to be how a lot of the Far-Right define conservatism.

I want more Roosevelt, less Reagan/Bush, in the Right.

I was once supportive of gay marriage because the argument that “it doesn’t affect you so you shouldn’t oppose it” seemed salient to me. The results that have happened after legalization of gay marriage including the transgender push and the mass celebration of pride month as if it’s a national holiday now show that it affects the entire culture. I don’t like the results and would like to see them reversed. If that could be done while keeping gay marriage I would support that, because ultimately that’s what I want is for heterosexuality and homosexuality to not be seen as equal choices but heterosexuality as important due to it allowing for reproduction and the continuance of society and as what is normal, and everything else as abnormal.

But Bacle, the idea that half of all black people would murder you if they found out you like dick and if they could get away with it is pretty crazy.

Isis was completely non-ethnonational. They wanted a religious state and welcomed all people of all races so long as they were willing to fight Jihad for Allah. Hell, their naming convention is quite interesting because unlike most states they did not name themselves after the ethnic group that they dominated. They were the Islamic state in Syria or in the Levant, not the Syrian Islamic state. They were an Islamic group that didn’t seem to care too much at all about ethnicity or borders or traditional national identity but wanted a purely religious state.

I do not hate Jews and I support Israel’s right to exist. Hell, I want to model a lot of US policy off of Israel because I think they are doing a lot of things wayyy better than we are, for example, not allowing gay marriage, and I respect them greatly for that. I just don’t think our interests align enough and that our international relations are lopsided in their favor, and don’t think it’s in our best interests to continue them.
