Zyobot
Just a time-traveling robot stranded on Earth.
I mean, so would pretty much every other nation back in those days and even up until a few decades ago. Imperial Germany wouldn’t have stood for it, for example. Imperial Russia sure as hell wouldn’t.
I bring this up because I’ve seen some worrying trends with this line of thought elsewhere. A sort of lionization of the Nazis and to a lesser degree, the Soviets.
Believe me, the last thing I want to do is give any sort of praise to the fucking Nazis, Imperial or Soviet Russians, but even they wouldn't have stood for this fucking abomination that's going on now.
Despite that however, Germany and Russia in both iterations had/have taken people's children to essentially brainwash them, and this law, combined with the grooming clusterfuck the Left have helped set up, is just carte blanche for the Left/Democrats to take people's groomed children legally and ultimately fully indoctrinate them in the same way as they did/are doing now, like something straight out of a dystopian nightmare.
But this isn't Nazi Germany, Imperial Russia, the Soviet Union, or even Russia today. It's the good ol' US of A in 2023.
Why breed your own when you can just steal your oppositions' children?
In fairness, while I agree that no one has celebrated transitioning kids on this scale before, I can still think of at least one or two examples from the "other direction" that are arguably even more horrific than that.
More specifically, Iran's Basij force recruiting children as young as twelve to run over minefields and into enemy gunfire in human-wave attacks, thereby making them into martyrs (such as this poor kid). Imperial Japan was even worse, as I recall, since IJA troops literally planted lost babies rigged with explosives as bait for American GIs to pick up, blowing them sky-high in the process.
Never mind all the gruesome castration and industrialized human sacrifice that @S'task pointed out up-thread, though even then, my understanding is that most of these measures were taken in either wartime or some other desperate period where the societies were literally in "Do or die!" mode (which is still no excuse, don't get me wrong). The modern West, on the other hand, has no such defense — and judging by where things are headed, this is only the beginning.
