    This is an official statement from the Boot.

    Advocacy of violence, be it against members of the LGBT community, Russians who are not sufficiently anti-Putin for your tender feelings, and anybody else, is against the TOS. Further instances of this, even if disguised in a cute 'not advocating just saying it would be a shame if it happened' not touching you manner is equal to a violation of this directive. The Boot is no longer going to tolerate this cute dodge. It is perfectly possible to condemn things without advocating violence.

    Not necessarily.
    Some denominations disagree about things that are not even in the bible at all.
    Thus allowing for different denominations that all fully agree about the bible, just not stuff outside it.

    For example. Catholics follow the Papacy, which is just something they made up which is not even in the bible.

    The difference is interpretation, I think. It also doesn't help that the original Bible has been translated, mistranslated, and translated again numerous times throughout history, like a game of Chinese Whispers: The core messages and meanings are there, but things change or are altered.

    Contrasting is Islam, which only has two main denominations, and even that is because of one or two differences, not interpretations of the Quran.

    Even if, ya know, the Quran has Mohammed as the "perfect ideal" of a man, what with marrying and fucking a literal child, beheading thousands of Jews in one day, and being a bloodthirsty bastard and all. :ROFLMAO:

    Between this and the recent earthquake on the East coast (which had its epicenter in New York) I think the Lord is getting thoroughly fed up. Just as context, earthquakes almost NEVER happen on the East coast of the USA. I mean, you've got this, you've got the 'day of trans-visibility' being set during Easter, of all times...

    I am also reminded of how that George Floyd mural from a few years back got destroyed by lightening.

    Also, when did the statue of liberty become owned and controlled by New York? It's a national park monument, given by the French to the United States, NOT New York. What are they doing having anything to do with how it is run?

    Less than you'd think. We do have access to copies of many early texts such as the dead sea scrolls and they show a remarkable level of consistency over the years in Biblical translations. And while translations from the original Hebrew and Aramaic do lose some meaning, there is a reason that while translations are fine for laypeople most serious Biblical scholarship needs to be done in the original languages.

    Not really. While most denominations have disagreements there is a difference between minor doctrinal differences and heresy. Most churches believe that to be orthodox you have to accept the authority of the Bible as well as the content of the Apostles, Athanasian, and Nicene Creeds. Which were specifically made to differentiate true doctrine from heresy.

    For instance while my church, the LCMS, considers Catholics and Baptists to be incorrect in some aspects they are still real Christians because they agree on the fundamental doctrine. As opposed to Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, and woke churches who are heretics.
