I used to think that it was because these people who have mutilated their bodies and have come to the realization they will never pass are trying to live vicariously through others, thinking, if only I'd had these when I was a kid, I might be able to pass now. Lately though? Not so sure anymore. I can honestly see it as pedos trying to keep kids in a perpetual prepubescence, and not giving a shit about the side-effects since they're used to throwing away kids after they get to old anyway.

Heard about John Money from a Matt Walsh video, though—for fairly clear reasons—not much about him elsewhere (save for a brief Wiki article a while back). But honestly, I can’t help but wonder what’d happen if I were to bring him up anywhere but here, whether on other forums or in real life? Because somehow, I doubt people would be receptive, which (sadly) includes a more left-wing audience who really should know about him and what he spurred.
I’d also like to note how vague the excerpts Sydney incorporated were, considering how all misleading terminology in them (e.g., “at-risk populations” instead of “pedophiles”) was clearly deliberate. If it’s all so harmless, then why can’t they just be honest and respond to skeptics in good faith? I think we all know the answer to that, and however you spin it, it must be something bad…

Looking at that list, there is also a little mentioned extra level of conmanship in this, think about what these shows are.
If it was actual women doing it, you would call it a night club, definitely not appropriate for children.
If it was anime girls doing it, it would be called ecchi and be considered PG-13 in Japan on TV, definitely not shown in school. Some of these children shown attending are very much on the wrong side of 13 btw.
But somehow if its weirdo guys pretending to be women doing it, its something the school should be showing to children because muh alphabet soup.

I'll tell you what will happen if you bring up John Money, his criminal actions, and his position as the father of modern gender theory in a discussion with a leftist.
In my experience they do their utmost to disassociate him with their beliefs on gender and try to minimize his part in creating the ideology they choose to believe/partake in.
If you don't let them casually dismiss him, they tend to become irrationally angry and accuse you of transphobia.
