J-Jurors are picked by raffle?
Ish.

The jury POOL is effectively selected by raffle. Basically all registered voters in the district are put into a pot, and every month X number of people from that pot are sent notifications that they have been selected for jury duty and each week to call the courthouse and see if they need to report in. If they do need to report in, they go to the courthouse and if the case they are assigned to actually goes to trial the Prosecution and Defense weed through the possible jury pool and outright reject a certain number from the jury and the court itself can also reject people from sitting on the jury. Once this process is complete, then the selected members of the jury are seated and the case begins.

The reason for this is simple: under the US Constitution courts judgements are required to involve a "jury of one's peers", "peer" in this case meaning "fellow average citizen". The most efficacious way we've found to do this involves random lot, and sitting for jury duty in the US is considered one of the responsibilities and duties of citizenship.

Talking more about how they just picked the final 12. Sheriff put the Juror numbers in a bag and then Kyle the Defendant pulled put 6 for the Jurors removed to make 12.

They literally had the defended pick the eliminated Jurors by raffle.

That's a bit weird, but I guess they'd have to randomly sort through the jury pool somehow.

They really want to intimidate and bully the jury. It's the only debate technique these people know.

I will not be surprised if the jurors fold out of fear, but I will be if the judge allows it to pass. The man is quite obviously a boomer completely disconnected from modern political realities who is done with this shit and will declare a mistrial.

sooner or later every one will hit their limit.

Judge should have thrown the case out with the first attempt to doxx the jury. If the jury is being threatened, the case must be thrown out as a fair trial is not possible.

For a normal trial, that's maybe possible. For something of this prominence? You can't do that everytime there's even an attempt, the trial would never get going, which is unjust to both sides.
