Impeachment

You check out Steve Turley too?

I'm not entirely sure of his credentials but I find him entertaining to listen too.

Haters would point out he likes to shill his book.
I watch a lot of different programs. From Tim Pool, Through Styx and Razorfist all the way to Jimmy Dore. I kind of like to consume news from all sources so I can figure out the truth for myself. :)

Fuck impeachment! Get the International Court of Justice involved and bring Bush, Trump AND Obama AND senior officials of ALL OF THOSE ADMINISTRATIONS before THE HAGUE. Crimes against humanity and war criminals all of them. Lock them ALL the fucking fuck up. The U.S. hasn't existed since it collapsed in 1861, this is the Imperial Confederacy.
What are you on about?

Not sure if trolling or stupid.

Anyway, I fully expect Pelosi to drag this out as long as possible, and to try to force the Senate to go by rules she wants in order to limit how much of a defense Trump can put up.

In the end, the Impeachment will fail, no matter what Pelosi does or bargains for, and the US people should send her a bill for all the tax payer dollars she's wasted on this farce.
Even if they did, she'd just ignore it. People like her, they think they deserve to avoid any and all consequences for their actions, simply because of their position in society.

Uh...that is a biased source trying to make the military and the president look bad.
Give me Associated Press or BBC or France24, AlJazeer. Any of those about this and then I will read into it.

And I can tell you no one in here is either of those.
Dude, remember that the US president doesn't actually know everything that goes on on the frontlines, because the people do not tell him everything.
What's your take on Afghanistan? America should pack up and go home?
Swarms of people on the rooftops as the last helicopters take off?
To add onto this. Major things going on in the world the president needs to know about that are on local media in the area, because the president doesnt watch or read papers or news from local in country sources. He watches fox, BBC, TAP.
In positive he stays away from CNN TWP and the like.

Where do you get the impression that the US hasn't existed since 1861?

As for war crime charges...not likely. Those are generally what the victorious nations impose upon the losers.

So, this is something of sidenote albeit one related to what caused this song and dance to start, but remember Hunter Biden? Well he's under multiple criminal investigations for allegedly helping set up money laundering schemes for Burisma amongst other things.
In its filing, D&A investigations asserts that Hunter Biden and his business associates "established bank and financial accounts with Morgan Stanley et al," for the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings Limited for a "money laundering scheme," among other ventures.

One alleged scheme "accumulated $156,073,944.24," according to the document.
I'm not sure about OAN as journalists but they've a video about the laundering bit in particular.

I could actually get behind prosecuting some politicians for our disastrous foreign policy since the “War on Terror” started. Put Bush, Clinton, and Obama behind bars - sounds great. I don’t think we can hold Trump accountable for wars started before he was even involved in politics, especially since one could argue he has been trying to deescalate things over there.

Also, I don’t trust any international court to try an American president, so that’s a big NO for The Hague.

I wouldn't be too outraged over who a lawyer represents. It's their job. Trump money combined with a lawyer that got Epstein a slap on the wrist and let OJ Simpson get away means he'll definitely slip away aside from the lack of concrete evidence to nail Trump.

What I don't get is what exactly them representing Epstein has to do with any other work they do. Are they meant to never be able to take on another job because they represented a scumbag? That's just stupid and it'd destroy both the livelyhood of those lawyers and people's right to have legal representation because no one is going to represent anyone they feel might at some point be viewed as a scumbag for fear of never being able to work again. It's just stupidity all the way down.

They hate legal representation for everyone because it hinders their ability to destroy the life of whoever has the misfortune of stumbling into their sights. If the mob has declared guilty, then the trial should be a mere formality, a kangaroo court.
But everyone having a right to legal representation, and said lawyers not supposed to be judged by who they represent, stops that. For now. Never forget, demorats and socialists want to destroy your way of life.

Heh, reminds me of this argument with 2BDamned months ago, most of it amounted to emotionalism and accusing all the cops of being evil sexist bigots so using the court of law is worthless

And demanding evidence is also worthless

Forgot the rest, but it’s still on the #MeToo and CancelCulture thread

The idea that lawyers should be ostracized for whom they represented is completely ridiculous And strikes against the very concept of legal representation. After all one of America’s own founding fathers John Adams as a lawyer defended the british troops who committed the Boston Massacre, him representing them in court clearly did not make him less of a patriot.

So a couple of things on impeachment I was wondering if any one knew about or had a guess.

1. What witnesses are we going to get from both sides? If they can each call an equal number of witnesses how are they going to stack them up?
2. Will they declare witnesses beforehand and will they be allowed rebuttal witnesses?
3. Shiff is an impeachment manager, can he be called?
4. Will the whistleblower be called?
5. Will Trump himself be called? Will he want to be called?
6. Will this end before the 4th, which is when the State of the Union is scheduled. Will Trump postpone if impeachment is ongoing?
7. Will news networks cut out of Republican testimony like they have Trump's speeches in the past?

As for my guess.
1. Probably get 4 each. Democrats will call Trump staff, Republicans will probably call Shiff, Whistleblower, Hunter Biden, and someone tied to aid with Ukraine.
2. Rebuttal witnesses allowed by Senate vote most likely.
3. Shiff will probably be called.
4. Whistleblower will be high up on the list of witnesses.
5. Trump is a wildcard. Honestly he might do it, since he is a far better public speaker and debater than anyone the Democrats have on their side.
6. It will be close. Trump would probably want to time the acquittal vote in the morning or the day before for maximum impact on the State of the Union.
7. Probably. Will most likely only show negative highlights for the most part.

The same answer to essentially all questions; whatever 51 Senators (or 50 plus the Chief Justice) decide to allow.

If Rand Paul actually sticks to his guns then you may well see one or both Bidens, Schiff, and the whistleblower called. Because once put to a vote after allowing the Dem's to call the witnesses that they want, the Republicans will find it virtually impossible to refuse to allow Trump to call who he wants.

That threat might also prevent any witnesses from being called.
