There is merit there. We need to pop the education bubble. A focus on trade schools and the end of easy student loans would go a long way, I think.

Perhaps. There is a lot of fat to trim from the college "experience", and there needs to be more focus on on-the-job-training.

Unlike what Isaac Asimov may have believed in his Robots/Galactic Empire/Foundation series, I don’t believe that things may necessarily repeat or follow similar stuff from the past
The reason for this is knowledge and technology
Guy made it so that his human civilization rejected and forgot the use of genetic engineering, life extension and robotics
But there are other technologies or even methods to keep knowledge alive
He had pretty much all his civilizations look to need governments for infrastructure, when really, I think you gotta decentralize and privatize as much as possible while not relying so much on even big private organizations with the help of specific technologies that don’t necessarily require too many people interacting
Replace colleges and schools with Trade Schools and Computer-Based-Education, he had robots or computers being teachers in some of his short stories for one
Don’t want to be brought down by a combination of corruption and incompetence, then make it so that those industries and organizations don’t necessarily have as much power due to not being so needed

Well, plenty of us saw this coming.
The thing about an impeachment trial like this - it doesn’t matter if they have no evidence, it doesn’t matter if it’s all based on lies. They can still distract Trump and numerous Trump supporters, they can cost his people money, maybe even destroy their lives like poor General Flynn and Rodger Stone. They can terrorize their political opponents at tax payer’s expense and no matter how baseless the charges or how corrupt their methods, they’ll still get 90% of the media and 40% of the public to support the impeachment unconditionally.
It’s not just a question of whether or not Trump can beat the charges, there is the question of what else he could be accomplishing if he wasn’t fighting trumped up charges from a corrupt DC establishment.
That is why I’d really like to see some of the impeachment people go to jail themselves. There have to be repercussions for these sorts of shenanigans.

You know what? Why just settle for a 2nd Impeachment?
If Trump wins a 2nd Term, do as many impeachments as possible
If it really hinders and costs Trump and other people and a big portion of the population will always support it

I mean-all the media is telling us that Biden is sure to win in November.
Surely they can wait until November? Like if trump sinks, then you have a Biden caretaker government that the dem Congress will basically be calling the shots in, alongside his cabinet.
If I were the Dems, I’d do must utmost at this point to get Biden elected, and not try to create the impression I’m hell bent on overthrowing trump at any cost.
All trump has to do is convince a bare majority in a few key states, that the Dems want to destroy the economy to take him down, and ask “what are they doing for you?”
And he’ll win.

Their delay was by adding more stuff to the bill and if Trump denies it, then he's evil, I'm guessing they would have added even more and more
Come 2025 they will probably be in the early stages of Pence Derangement Syndrome.
Can you just imagine the screeching if Trump was VP and Pence the President. Is that possible? Looking at article 22, I think it's possible unless they argue that 'office of the president' includes 'holding the position of vice president'
