While all this is funny, it's important not to lose sight of just what's at stake here. We need to remember that the Marxists/Leftists have already thought this out. Their long-term plan is to destroy local police departments, and replace them with community social responders and a federal police force that will ultimately answer to them.
From their point of view, the local police are the only right-wing reactionary force left in America. And this is a completely correct and valid perspective. If you live in the suburbs, the police can generally be relied upon to respond to any serious problem within minutes. The officers themselves tend to be politically right-wing, and the department is almost entirely independent from the local, state, and federal authorities. County sheriffs are elected and answer to the people, rather than doing the bidding of the Mayor or City Council. All this is good thing for us, but horrifying to our would-be future Commissars.
That's why they've been doing their best to weaken and subvert the local police over the last few decades, imposing idiotic diversity standards on them and trying to take away their power. Now the final push is to completely #DefundThePolice and replace them with social workers with full investigative authority who answer to the local elected officials. Combine this with a federal police force that also is dependent on federal bureaucrats for its authority, and you have the makings of a Marxist police state that punishes property owners, wrongthinkers, and people who use guns to protect themselves from criminals.
This is serious business.
I say we find those responsible and take it out out of their hide!
