Once you have it installed and figured out updating is optional, and if you do update, it's mostly a matter of pressing a button and time.

I would like to know more. I prefer PC for first person shooter, but ymmv.
Starship Troopers games have always been hit or miss, even if a lot of them go under people's radar.
Terran Ascendency was fucking amazing. The first FPS "Starship Troopers" was pretty much 'meh' at best, poor at worst. The RTS game (Terran Command) released was pretty bareboned compared to what it should have been, including playing as the Bugs.
So, I'll cautiously observe this, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
From the people who made the successful and well received Terminator: Resistance games. They are now working on a Robocop game called Robocop: Rogue City.

alright I never knew I wanted a robocop game till I saw that.
This was my reaction as well.
I was kinda hoping, and maybe there still will be, for more law enforcement bits. Like actually being able to talk down suspects and criminals instead of blowing them away for throwing bottles at you, but then again, a good shooter is good enough. If it's as interactive and immersive as Terminator: Resistance was, it'll be a solid game.
Still the lack of interactivity with the criminal scum makes me feel this would be better if an ED-209 could be modded into the game as the protagonist instead.
1. Looks like they're taking design inspiration from the Infiltrator DLC of Resistance. This feels like a T-800 mowing down Resistance members.
2. Given how Resistance was amazing and true to certain strains of canon (1, 2: JD, and even 3: RotM to an extent), I have faith in the developers.
3. Looks like this is OG Robocop only: I think this is confirmation that the shitty remake is as dead as Ghostbusters '16 now. I hope we get an optional skin from the remake, but that's all.
4. If we get a ED-209 DLC, ala Infiltrator, I will fucking lose my shit.
5: We need a Robocop versus Terminator crossover event. The developers can make it happen, and the last game was in the 90's (excluding the Mortal Kombat DLC).

That tied into the game, IIRC: they used the comic for the SNES version's in-game cutscenes. The Mega Drive version didn't get the same love.
