Different than what happened? Because they sent that email out repeatedly. Sure, it didn't contain a crack but it did contain a literal 1 click button to solve the problem. A button that gave you free shit on top of solving the problem. It isn't thievery if you don't take that offer.
It's the exact same as you leaving a car with a repair shop after having paid half the repair cost. Sure, you technically paid for part of it. Hell, you might have paid for the entire cost.
But if you don't pick it up they are given the legal right to auction it off or have it impounded, and if you don't get it from the impound? Tough shit, they'll scrap it or impound it themselves.
You abandoned the property, don't be surprised when it isn't there anymore when you come back two fucking years later.

Anyone remember playing "Overlord", with the goblins n shit?
The game was fairly ahead of its time with it's linear story-telling and it's karma system being weirdly detailed and impactful on the story and aesthetic. Despite the story being myopic and purposefully tacky, the gameplay still holds up today and culminates in a fairly dynamic experience today.

Never finished that, felt kinda lame compared to the original.
But yeah, it was a fun dungeon builder/RPG with some ok humor.
War for the Overworld was better if you want a pure dungeon sim.

Tutorial as in an actual tutorial or "Taris and Peragus are KotOR 1's and 2's respective 'tutorials'"? Because those two boring fuckers were about a third of each game setting you up for the main plots.

Short tutorial, you see the new overlord as a baby, in an overlord getup, of course, then as a teenager, again in full overlord getup, and get to blow stuff up and cause mayhem.Tutorial as in an actual tutorial or "Taris and Peragus are KotOR 1's and 2's respective 'tutorials'"? Other than that I don't remember anything about the sqeuel, other than it changed a few things and annoyed me, wasn't much of an improvement over the original game, IMHO.
