Five minutes of hate news

Conservatives are giving up an easy culture win by hating on rap music.

The super bowl show by Kendrick Lamar, admittedly not great, was still hilarious and an easy culture win for conservatives if they took it.

First, it wasn't porn on a national stage. Second, it wasn't woke (despite what some idiots say). Instead, it was hilarious, all about trolling Drake for being a pedo, a creep, and hanging around kids too much (which he does).

Kendrick's big song, Not Like Us, explicitly called out Drake ("Say Drake, I heard you like 'em young") and the lyrics go on to call him a pedo in like 5 other ways, before ending with ("You trying to strike a chord, but it's probably A minor!"). Kendrick's chain, a lowercase "a"? A reference to that lyric, calling Drake a Pedo again.

Now there was a question of if the song would play, but Drake tried to sue him to stop it. Kendrick actually references the song during the performance.

He also had two of Drake's ex's on stage to laugh at him, SZA (the original singer) and Serena Williams (yes, the tennis star who did a crip walk). Now why would Kendrick do this? Because Drake has this disgusting habit of trying to sleep with/claim to sleep with the wives/girlfriends/exes of people he beefs with, so this is reversing that.

On top of the Drake hate (and there's even more drake hate if you look for it), the red and blue groups symbolized the crips and bloods, who somehow, Kendrick managed to get to perform together on stage in June. He's actually making some amount of peace break out in his place. More, Kendrick, unlike other rap artists, is actually a family man, dated the same woman since high school, who doesn't have a bunch of kids out of wedlock. He doesn't even touch drugs.

But now conservatives are fucking up just picking up an easy win that was handed to them. Just say yes.

Didn't watch the Superbowl...don't care about half time show. Not sure this is even an issue.

I'm a Kendrick fan, (rap fan in general,) but I disagree with this entire post.

I don't think it slightly matters, at all.

Anyways Kenrick's last album was crap. No real bangers. Not terrible but nothing stands out.

I have not seen that specific one, but rap music in general is trash.
I am not going to pretend I like ugly art or ugly music for "PR Wins"
Even if it is ugly art that happens to align with me politically.

There's rap music and then there's [c]"rap music".

Most in the last ten, fifteen years are the latter now that someone even with brain damage can make [and honestly, most "rap stars" now look like they have brain damage or actually have it because they're coking it up every night].

So, no; rejecting [c]"rap music" isn't passing up a win. It's just crap.

Kendrick absolutely does not fall into the (c)rap genre.

He's one of the best to ever do it. He's at the very top of the game for a reason.

Still think his last cd was mid though.

I like Dax. Small indy rapper? But not much else.

Oh, Chance the Rapper is good. 2 Chainz when he isn't rapping about garbage.

Never heard his stuff in particular so I can't form an opinion, but I stand by my view that most modern rappers just spew generic crap, with generic themes, to a generic "beat". They literally look, act, and sound like they're high on crack or meth every single minute of the day.

Edit: Then again, pop stars also have degenerated. Beyonce's music is... well, "Run the World" is literally just a few lines for the entire song, and IIRC it took several people to write that "masterpiece".

I mean, fucking hell, even twenty years ago we had some good stuff, not to mention the golden shit we had in the eighties and seventies.

Most of modern "rap" is [c]rap.

Most modern rap is indeed crap.

Even some of Kendrick's stuff. Idk what he played or sounded like at the super bowl so no judhement there. But man he has some bangers, too.

I mostly like older rap 90s and 2000s. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, NWA, Tupac, Biggie, etc

I've seen men, just ordinary men and not the type you'd expect to be complete mysogonists or stereotypical 'incels', say shit like "Islam may be many things, but keeping their women from basically destroying themselves by keeping them in line isn't one of them".

So, yeah. o_O It's already starting to happen.

And, to be a Devil's Advocate, I can sort of see their point. [I know that's going to get me roasted by third-parties until they view my context, which is on point because I honestly suck at articulating my points/trains of thought].

I'm all for women being free and equal to men. It's the norm and should be the norm in Western life, and Islam and the stricter Christian values which treat women no better than a kitchen stove are not paths to go down/emulate.

But, unfortunately, culturally/socially things have swung in a direction where it's like someone who's gotten a taste of alcohol and, instead of being a normal, social drinker like everyone else, they now drink too much and have become a danger to themselves and others constantly because they can get away with it/not suffer any consequences for being destructive to others and themselves.

And society, the law, and our culture stupidly enables it.

If you try to say "hey, maybe what you're doing is fucking stupid and damaging to yourself", you're automatically called "controlling" or "abusive", even if you're just setting boundaries for yourself ["No, I don't want you going out clubbing at eleven at night dressed like a fucking sex worker and as though you're single with your single/divorced 'girlfriends'. What's that? I'm controlling or abusive? There's the door then. Enjoy being a single fucking sex worker"].

Even having strong, male figures in their lives like fathers or brothers are now seen as being a detriment by most women, since they stop their daughters/sisters from making obvious bad decisions/doing fucking utterly stupid shit.

Legally? Women are protected and men are viewed as being the one at fault first, even if the police arrive to find her wielding a knife and the man in question bleeding like a fucking hirehose.

The courts? Favour women to a ridiculous degree, even if they're strung up druggies. Custody? To the mother unless they cannot spin her [a hyperbolic example] being a baby-eating sociopath in a favourable light to people, and this often ends up in tragedy because the kids are abused, harmed, killed, or alienated from their fathers.

Divorce settlements, even when it's proven she's at fault e.g. her fucking anyone that moves? Hippity Hoppity, half your shit, your future shit, and your salary is now hers.

When you hear men just outright killing their cheating wives instead of going through divorce settlements, I can see why they do it, though I obviously disagree with it. They'd rather do the time and then be financially free after than have an entire lifetime chained to their cheating exes.

False accusations? Rarely does the woman receive any punishment when caught; meanwhile, the man's life is still ruined despite being proven innocent because of reputational damage and media having a double-standard in naming them [women don't have their identities spread, men do including "mug shots"].

I don't see a massive religious reivival like a lot of Christians on here salivate over like a dog with a tomahawk steak, but society eventually swinging back to where women are generally being curtailed/controlled from the currently growing fallout of men just generally disengaging or more saner women looking at this shit and going "no, I won't raise my daughters to be another self-destructive bimbo"? I can easily see that.

I've come to believe two things: "Women think with their hearts and emotion; men think with their brains and logic" [and, unfortunately, 'hearts and emotions' have become synonyms for "thinking with their fucking clits" in this day and age, which is ironic since men are supposed to be the ones thinking with their "second heads", hah], and "accountability is Kryptonite to women".

The thing that concerns me is that western tech is now advancing to where cloning and artificial children are becoming a possibility thanks to the trans movement (They found a way to created eggs using cells from two male doners so that men can pretend to get pregnant) which means you won't even need to do heterosexual sex to continue your line. ...so how long before populations start falling into homosexuality in mass?
