I do think that we are in a very bad situation, even if Trump wins, it’s just slightly prolonging the inevitable collapse. As for what I think we can do to help, it’s mostly not about politics. It’s folly to think that be spending a few minutes coloring in bubbles once every 2 years that we can defeat the massive left wing machine. What would be far more effective is grass roots changes in lifestyle. Having large families, having lots of children, homeschooling those children and instilling your values in them, being in touch with the local community, rejecting left wing controlled institutions such as media, education, and to the degree we are able even big corporations. I don’t think that this can prevent the USA from functionally ending, that is inevitable at this point, but it could be sowing the seeds for perhaps a new civilization that might arise from the ashes of this one.

This may all seem far out there, but more immediately I’m hoping that Trump can pull off a victory and at least buy us some more time.

Its honestly surprising how quickly alternatives have been made.

Because you spend a good chunk of your time having a long face and focusing on evangelizing (and no I do not use that term lightly), rather than actively doing something about it or even enjoying the ride. Doom as much a state of mind as it is and outward force. As for your second question, mainly self interest and money and also partial because very view people want to talk about anything else.

heck the whole reason why I came to sietch in the first place was to talk science fiction on account that SB doesin't seem to want to discuss anything outside of thier pet stuff, but it's pretty clear that this place is mainly a place for refuges to vent thier frustrations toward the left. I voted for trump mainly because I thought he was finacially benifical for the country and I still do. At the end though, if Biden wins it is going to suck for a bit but I won't lose any long term sleep over it.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Just look at all the levers that were pulled when Patreon purged rightwingers/conservatives from its ranks. Suddenly Paypal and even the payment processors like VISA and Mastercard all were on board with blacklisting the same people. It's relatively easy getting some alternative to patreon set up. But what if the underlying payment infrastructure also blacklists you, for example?

While many aren’t rich enough to remake those sorts of sites and fund the processors, I’m sure you can find some rich dudes who like giving the other rich dudes the finger

Trump’s one example of said rich dudes who aren’t really onboard with the posh upper class european weirdoes

How do you know what I do about it? I do strive to live the sort of life I described, what should I be doing on the Sietch aside from evangelism if even that?

We were disagreeing about politics, about what policies or strategies would be good for the right to take, but that debate seems a bit hollow if you don’t really even care. I do care, very much, about the future of this wonderful civilization that was passed down to me by people of the past who gave their blood, sweat, tears, and even their lives to create it and I very much hope that it can be passed down to my children and to their children, that we might keep the flame alive through the generations.

On a lighter note, I would like to see more fantasy and science fiction discussions here.

That's going to suck but now there is a conservative supreme court and I don't think that kind of fuckery survives a challenge on that front.

If all this talk of electoral fraud is true, and it's looking more and more like that, then the Dems have made a pretty large error. They are lashing out at Trump after four years of frustration, only to have totally exposed themselves to even a halfway competent investigation somewhere down the line. Cheating on this scale is just too blatant for even the blind to ignore, and even harder to cover up. Not only that, they chose to carry out this strategy against an extremely combative President with a long experience in legal shenanigans, advised by top lawyers with long experience in legal shenanigans. All whilst a veritable army of MAGA Activists are willing to gather evidence. If ever there was a decisive way to discredit the Democratic party, it would be being caught committing electoral fraud, which is why I still entertain the idea that Trump may well have set them up to do this.

And if SCOTUS rules against them, the Democrats will find out just how little all their soft power stands up to hard power. No media manipulation or censorship can deflect a SCOTUS ruling.

They’re hoping majority of people just take it in the ass

Or that most people are just that gullible and will forget it all, forget it even faster with the help of Big Tech making it so that people don’t even know voices are being silenced either

It’s worked for a long time, sure they can’t make people like them enough to say buy and read/play/watch their stuff, but they can make people fear and hate those they claim to be bigots

They maybe relying on the rest of the population to do mass gaslighting

Blatant? We have mods on this very forum who are willing to defend to the metaphorical death the notion that any and all allegations of voter fraud are a baseless conspiracy theory.

Well that's too bad. All the gaslighting in the world can't stop Trump taking it to the Supreme Court. All the media manipulation and censorship they can muster will not dissuade that court if it decides to rule against them.

Too bad for them, because the GOP is taking it seriously. And they seem to be very much alone on this site, given the vast majority of the user base seem at least willing to entertain the idea that fraud on a large scale may have been involved.
 
I think Trump has won this but losses due to cheating, the issue is as always can it be proven, is anyone in power going to actually do anything about it? I see this much like Epsteins suicide*, forgotten and nothing happens.

I just have problems believing that after everything I have seen in the past 4 yrs that Biden could legitimately win at this point, considering Trump won the last time in the first place, Trump should not have won the first term at all if it was impossible for him to win, I keep hearing about these 11th+hour ballots that keep mysteriously showing up for Biden at the last minute.

I'm worried about truth and reconcilliation commissions, I'm worried about the wrongthink escalating and people being even more discriminated from employment or platforms or banking. Did people really not care? Is this really going to happen. I didn't expect a landslide, but is this really the future that people chose, after voting Trump in the first place last time? Where did these votes come from? It just all seems so sketchy but what can I do.
