People don't like authoritarian shitheels curtailing their freedoms and way of life. It's no wonder people are fleeing Hong Kong like Detroit.
This is just another example of why China is a shithole, and what happens to areas they take over.

You know it is funny ? We don't associate that with Chinese immigrants back in Italy.

Of course we do notice and don't like the fact that in a neighboorhood and a city they replaced indigenous Italians.

This is a new low, even for the CCP poacher fleets.

Seems like something not new or unusual, but a classic tactic of illegal fishermen in the region...
Except taken up to eleven with state protection from China.

There's also an interesting note there that using large amounts of cyanide is a sign of a desperate attempts from failing fishermen to get large amounts of fish right now at massive cost to future fish stock and their habitat. So the other options are that their the fishing militia is going bankrupt, or China is planning a naval escalation soon that will stop them from fishing there anyway.

Sink them. There is precedent. To date since 2015 10 illegal Chinese fishing ships have been sunk by Peru, Chile, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Again, sink on sight. Torpedo the fuckers.
Board them, auction off the ships, sentence the survivors to 30 years of forced labor, and make crazy demands on China if they want them back.

Most of them may be worth less than any decent torpedo.

It's also a solution much less callous towards human life, and much less likely to cost you massively on the international stage.

That's why you don't use torps; capture the ships for the anti-poacher militia to use, instead of auctioning them off.

That way every CCP poacher ship that is captured strengthens the anti-poacher fleet, instead of needing to buy new ships.

Do you want to trust your life to a CCP made ship? They are notorious for sinking. They're barely worth scrapping with the shit quality metal you can puncture with a finger

The one's that are too unsafe to use can be sunk for fish habitats after being cleaned of hazardous materials.

The one's safe enough to sail, but not trust your life to, can be used as what amounts to remote fireships for use against massed poacher formations. Put drone controlled guns and weapons on it, and use it as an assault drone against the larger poacher fleets.

Those are ships meant for militia operations which include ramming, so i would assume not falling apart at first opportunity is a requirement the state cares about and makes them "premium" quality.

Yeah, it's more fitting to the level of escalation present, and to a degree makes the enforcement self-funding and helpful for lawfare against China itself.

Peter Schweizer in his book "Red-handed:How american elites get rich helping China win" wrote how american elites betrayed their country - for example Biden family till 2022 take at least 31 millions.

Fun thing is - that is exactly how Poland, who was once empire like USA,ceased to exist. Our elites do not have problems with taking enemy moneys.
USA survived till now thanks to lack of border with such enemies, but with modern technology....

I've seen too many official reports of deaths to bad shipbuilding to ever trust any Chinese made ship. Way too many social media posts of missing fishing ships or crews falling overboard and drowning
