Numbers dint matter if the equipment is inferior.
Depends how inferior. If the Chinese can churn out in quantity kit of late Cold War quality at the very least (we know they have far shinier toys than that), then they remain a dangerous opponent.

Right now America remains the military superior of China, but China has the luxury of being able to concentrate its might to a local area. The United States meanwhile has its forces deployed across the globe to defend its hegemony. Attaining parity with the US Pacific Fleet is a thing China could do given enough time, and that is a worry.

Half the tonnage of the us navy isn't miniscule by most standards, nor is the largest number of major surface combatants. They also have three carriers with a desire to have up to 6 by 2030, which considering how much they have already built seems achievable.

The constant underestimation of China will be listed in history books in the future as one of the western elites worst mistakes. Even if the west is super uber right now it's clearly on a sharp decline especially when compared to Asia and before anyone wants to bring out the tired demographics about China i would like to point out they would happily put women in state birthing camps without a moments hesitation, mean while western efforts to encourage it's most productive and law abiding group to reproduce is decried as ''racism''. Why the globalist tiny hats are this stupid escapes me tbh🤔

We don't underestimate China.
I am truly scared of what they could become.
I also know that they have a huge population issue. With an aging one and a younger generation a lot smaller then thier aging one. With a huge issue of them not wanting to do anything.
Yes I know, they will enslave women, but it's to late as there is already too big of a gap.

And by 2030, we will have a military ready to fight then with 11 carriers if not more, carriers that arnt Chinese quality. And the fact that a war against then will happen much sooner then later.

Add in thier military is completely inexperienced in combat. Lacking so much so that they havnt fought any major engagements since...the 70s. Thier peacekeeping force ran when confronted.

The US may have decades of COIN, but that two decades worth is more then China has.
Add in the things we learn from Ukraine is insurmountable.
Add in, guess who helped train the Ukrainians....

It isn't underestimating. It is Pattern Recognition. The CCP has made too many crappy mega projects over recent history. To all of a sudden put out nothing but quality. Sometimes it just is what it is. And the CCP Military is literally shit tier. I would also like to point out the Wumaos and 10 cent army are trying to snow everyone in the west about how bad their military really is. You have to do a deep dive into smuggled footage of covered up problems to see through the disinformation.

Too late? Like they don't have have millions of rurals they can raise out of poverty to smooth any gap. The military you are talking about has a global empire to patrol while they only need to be strong in a few places. I keep hearing about how ''crappy'' Chinese stuff is but time marches on and the dirty work of r&d has already been done, take a picture of an American fleet and a Chinese fleet today and compare them, they can innovate, copy and learn same as everyone else. Let's hope globalism and it's policies have been ended by the time some theoretical war happens. As it stands now in the west, one half of the population wouldn't piss out the other half if they were on fire. Any potential conflict with them is going to be majority air and sea which they have comparable experience in. Afterall how many naval battles against a peer opponent has the west fought recently. The Chinese are watching events in Ukraine too, or can they not also learn from watching and likely seeing what the Russians see first hand.

They are a nation of 1.3 billion people so i would certainly expect failure as in every society, not enough failure however to assume a potential enemies military equipment will fortunately fail to perform🤔. The majority of the information my conclusions are based on came from western controlled sources so where this 10 cent army is i haven't a clue😉
Reply is above lol🤣

If China's economy were still on an upward arc, I would have some worry.

As it is though, they're in the process of imploding; it's dubious they'll be able to maintain what they've already built out, much less maintain their rate of new production and construction.

Their practical timeline for trying to hit Taiwan, which is the only feasible war scenario visibly on the horizon, is within the next 5 years. That might happen pretty quick as economic failure stirs up political turmoil, but it's hard to say for sure.

If Xi is smart, and I doubt he's smart at much beyond ruthless power politics, he'll try to do it while Biden is still in office. If Trump or any other Republican wins next year, his window to act is perilously short.

It's also important to keep in mind that Taiwan, and its de-facto allies against China in the region, are rapidly arming up to fight the Chinese as well.

I mean, again, experience Trumps all.

Da Fuck is wrong with this people????

Actual fist fights would lower social credit and ban them from traveling. As well as being saddled with a jail sentence. This is is just under the line that the cops don't feel the paperwork is worth it. If they had been chanting anti-CCP slogans there'd be 200 cops arresting everyone whose GPS put them anywhere near there at the time.
