This is something I dislike about the modern day Republican party. If someone is not on board with the foreign policy goals of the party they say "Oh your bought by the CCP!"
It's stupid, people can have very good reasons for not wanting the US to seek conflict with China or Russia, or Iran, or any other nation. While the saying that the Chinese aren't oppressing the Uighers is dumb. They obviously are, ironically they do the very same things that many neo cons were jerking off about wanting to do to Muslims back in the Bush era.
What is not wrong however is the statement that China is not a threat to our freedoms in the US.

It effectively controls the largest social media platform in existence.
It has its fingers in damn near every thing.
Is responsible for a lot of the goods we as US citizens own.
Does not care about US government laws. Will and has been actively spying on US citizens and can nit be stopped by the US Government in the sense that we have laws prohibiting it.
Has control over the largest population in the world and can basically dictate what Hollywood and our entertainment makes.
Has the money to basically buy every single company in the US for the most part, or has part on them.
And absolutely hates us and is teaching it's population that we are the big bad and that one day they will own us or kill us all.
Has nothing to do with them NOT embracing my ideas of proper foreign policy.
