United States Biden administration policies and actions - megathread

In Brazil, we call it 'Corridor Radio' or(usually in jobs where there's plenty of physical labor) 'Peon Radio'. Among airline pilots it's called 'AFA', standing for "Associação de Fofoqueiros de Aeroporto"('Airport Gossips Association' - it's also a pun on the acronym of the Air Force Academy).
Everyone has it

Is there still a public transcript though?

Sounds a bit like civil disobedience. You take a stand and accept the punishment in the hope that the fact that you are getting punished is another thing pushing people to back your cause.
It really is and he knows it

Maybe. The Federal Reserve prints money. The Treasury mints coins. There might not be enough time for the US Mint to make some very high denomination coins so unless they've already got some stuffed in a vault somewhere than no one univolved knows about or a contingency to mint some at a moment's notice the US Government runs out of cash.

And it will all be Congress' fault. It doesn't matter which political party has the reigns because Congress spends money like a drunk sailor on leave with a credit card that has no credit limit.

Of the many faults of the US government it's congress I hate a lot of.

The Sailors take offense at your comparing them to Congress. Even a boot seaman who decided he could afford an Ensignmobile is more fiscally sound.
Understandable. An 18 year old Seaman Recruit right out of RTC has two months of pay they haven't been able to spend yet, a credit limit, and is too young to blow it all bar hopping.

So this is why there is potentially no money for the DoD come mid month paycheck

Oh joy, because that bill was so POPULAR already that they could afford a bit of pork right?

Either they have some strong blackmail and favours waiting to force this through, or they have given up on Bi-Partisan support.

They were never counting on bi-partisan support. What they're hoping is that Manchin and Sinema (sp?) will both cave.

probally the later.

They will need the Bipartisan support to raise the debt ceiling. How much credit do the Dems have with the Republicans?

Freudian Slip

This doesn't surprise me in the least, Obama trying to be a shadow president has been painfully obvious. He absolutely loathed Trump and the knowledge that everything he did was about to be ripped to shreds by the man had to drive him to desperate measures. I still remember back when Trump started going on trips overseas and that little weasle Kerry was visiting the countries right after him.

Hell i remember seeing a picture of Obama a few months after the election looking like he was holding court in his new office. The bastard clearly took all the power he could from the office when he left. That makes it even more amazing that Trump accomplished all that he did while fighting essentially a god damned shadow government/cold civil war. Fuck that guy with his ''wifes'' cock.
