Yeah I suspect nobody gave any thought to Biden beyond “We need to defeat Trump!” They saw it as “Literally Anyone Is Better Than Trump” when the truth is, well...as much as one can ridicule Trump for his behavior, I don’t think anyone seriously questioned whether he was aware of what planet he’s on.

So they coast along until Biden either is incapacitated or dies, or else tires of the job, and then they hand it over to Harris, who by virtue of being a woman of color is clearly qualified for the job...except it’s been quite obvious she’s anything but, given the debacle that the border has been, and how she can’t handle even moderately difficult questions from the press. Her approval ratings are actually pretty far underwater, which for a VP is pretty much unheard of.

Basically it’s going to be a long four years.

The people giving him the notes either knew what questions would be asked beforehand or were very good at guessing. The only way it's different from any other press conference is that the person on the podium was the US President.

He's literally come out and said he has been given a list of people to call on, so it's pretty easy to put two and two together on that one.
