There's a lot of Marxists who've jumped onto the Populist bandwagon. Michael Tracey and Jackson Hinkle are two that I can name off the top of my head. But keep in mind, it can be hard to tell a Right Wing Marxist from your everyday Right Wing Yahtzee like a Richard Spencer or Nick Fuentes because they all tend to be very peculiarly nationalistic... and yet also have socialist tendencies... like some sort of... Social Nationalism...?

Not really. Communists are international socialists ("Workers of the world Unite") and fascists are nationalist socialists ("Workers of Germany unite".) Which is why the Nazi party was called the National Socialist party.
Naturally, Communists work hard to deny this.

What I don't get is why. You'd think they'd be content to defend and let the Ukrainians suffer the hard work of being on the offense but nope, there goes a full mechanized battalion worth of equipment (likely with most of their troops, given how Russian IFVs tend to die catastrophically) for... what, exactly?
I don't even know anymore, man. Maybe you can explain it to me. What are they saying on Telegram? What the fuck are they thinking?

I imagine they believe Ukraine is close to exhaustion and the time has come to take a crack at them.
Their only Doctrine is attack. In the hopes of finding a weak point to disrupt Ukraine's advance. Unfortunately the current Russian army doesn't have the minimal competence nor logistics and coordination of the Red Army.
