Armchair General's DonbAss Derailed Discussion Thread (Topics Include History, Traps, and the Ongoing Slavic Civil War plus much much more)

Personally I think the Megu-nade is the funniest of it.

Imagine being some poor Ruskie conscriptovich and the last thing you see before being blown to shreds in a grenade with Ms. Explosion stuck on the side of it.
Same deal with the isekai-grenade. It has a lot of work to do to catch up to Truck-kun.

Or more likely, it's Russian government's yes-man based political system running in circles.
We even had reports of that. FSB agents couldn't tell their higher ups that Ukrainian population doesn't love Russia because that would get them admonished. So they told them that most Ukrainians are waiting to get liberated and the rest are nazis, like all higher ups expected to hear.
Likewise, the propaganda said that the separatists are heroic militiaman figures straight out of American 1776 stories fighting le evul nazis, so no one could outright say that these are thugs and hired opportunists who will treat the residents of controlled territories worse than medieval serfs and so it will be a PR shitshow.
Russian military leaders and military industrial sector said they are the second in the world, so no one could tell them that they can't pull off a Desert Storm with minimal civilian casualties and they are full of shit if they think they can, all the important people in charge of these would feel insulted by someone who said that out loud, because it would mean either that someone is insulting them and the country, or they lied to Putin, so it would be a serious internal conflict.
Besides, if the earlier scheme involving them worked, it wasn't supposed to matter what Ukrainians think anyway, that's the whole point of Russian political moves regarding Ukraine after all. The separatists were supposed to be a "hook" that gets Ukraine into very shitty political deals that in effect take away its independence.

You are probably right. But,just in case,we should be prepared for my scenario, too - with hidden super army made of FSB elite units who wait for RIGHT HOUR to strike.
Maybe even with soviet apemans in hidden underground cities.
Not very probable - but still possible.

Becouse it is not good to belive that everybody who behave like idiot really is idiot. It could be smart kgb colonel putin with grand plan to take over Earth - or,at least,Europe.

If the admins in St. Petersburg have decided it's time to try Putin for treason for starting the war in Ukraine...maybe this will be what breaks the commies backs domestically.

I find it weird that I hear more about situation at Balakleya from pro-Russia sources than from pro-Ukrainian, considering they have greater chance of success there, rather than in the bloody slugfest that is Kherson offensive.

Europe has a weaker back and people both in Germany,Italy and other are tired of the rising prices unlike their politicians. They no longer represent us and I hope this month in Italy we can throw a wrench into the pro-Ukranian sellouts, I would like to go a way of a fifth column or change sides like we did in WW2 and throw under the bus the Ukraine but I know that whoever is going to be elected will be a spineless pro-NATO turncoat global cosmopolitan rat despite their virtual and verbal claims.

Likely it won't happen, but hope is the last to die.

It is worth then you think.Even if you manage to vote to power some putin useful idiots, all you get would be Bucha in Italy.
Becouse putin really belive in old soviet glory - and that is why he would try take Europe, not only Ukraine if he win.
And then soviet soldiers in Italy would behave like soviets.

The Ukrainians are sensibly limiting information about active offensive operations as far as possible. Why is that weird?

Then my hope for you is the just fate of all turncoats, traitors and oath breakers. Italy disgraced themselves in so many ways in the second world war, and your inability to put the suffering and death of millions of innocent Ukrainians ahead of petty self interest or politics is disgraceful now. You disgust me.

I'm not sure why exactly a Russian is actually in a position to complain about Western diktats. It's not like the West actually has a monopoly on regime change attempts and/or humanitarian interventions in recent decades:

-India's liberation of East Pakistan in 1971
-Vietnam's invasion/liberation of Cambodia in 1979
-Tanzania's invasion/ of Uganda in 1979
-Iran's attempted invasion/liberation of Iraq in the 1980s
-Russia's attempted invasion of Ukraine this year (2022)

Thankfully I only follow even handed, fair and balanced, objective Telegram and Twitter Accounts concerning this conflict.

I'm also smart enough to recognize propaganda when I see it and not spread it around just because I personally may find it appealing to me.

Anyways, here's the latest update.

Belgian Assault Rifles, the sexy F2000's just like the ones used in the Libyan Civil War, are now in the soft, supple and agile hands of Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian Forces are also uhhh being equipped with American made M4A1 Carbines which have really good... ballistic performances if you like to tumble.

She has a big gun. It's as big as she is. It is a very practical weapon for a Medic to carry around. Look at those giant curved bananas tucked into her vest. That looks heavy. And totally compatible with her Sniper Rifle.

Oh my God is she okay?!?!?!

Heh Heh Heh I'm coming at you first... ;) :geek:

The Greens were founded and funded by the Soviets expressly for that purpose.
Sure, but the best solutions to dislodging them would cause the rest of the world to scorn us as "uncivilized", "beyond the pale", and "not fitting of a democracy" like the greens give any form of shit about democracy either...

Since when we, the Italian nation, promised to be loyal to the Ukraine? No, our politicians do not speak for us.

I wouldn't wish the same on you, if you had the same politicians who were even too eager to make you awfully miserable as mine have done so far, caring more about Ukraine sovereignity and health and mental welfare of Ukranians than our own.
As @Urabrask Revealed said, and this is the first time I am agreeing with him, my national interests come before those of the Ukraine, as you would if your nation was in the same position, you wouldn't hesitate to kneecap Kiev to be butchered in the sacrificial altar of international geopolitics if it suited your country's interest and you would curse your governants for not doing so or not doing it fast enough.
And why bring WW2? One of the reasons the continent doesn't speak German nowadays after American steel, British intelligence and Russian blood (which the paid unfortunatly because Stalin was an imbecillic degenerate thinking Hitler wasn't insane to start a two front war) is because we turned against that bald headed cunt of Mussolini and the degenerate Nazis, and getting back only a slightly less worse deal than Germany and Poland, but we were oathbreaking AGAINST the Axis and I am very glad we did that so we could not be razed to the ground as rightfully happened to Nazi Germany. And the same should be done to save our own economic, financial and monetary well being this time.
