Armchair General's DonbAss Derailed Discussion Thread (Topics Include History, Traps, and the Ongoing Slavic Civil War plus much much more)

Onlyfans and livestreaming made it much more lucrative without having to have sex with random for payment.
Oh, yeah, onlyfans wanted to cut operations in Russia, but didn't.No idea what the official reason was, but IMHO it is just because they can't lose a substantial portion of the product they sell.

Guess they have smarter management than BP, Shell and Exxon.

Although I don't think that the top-tier talent is that numerous, you probably have a small percentage of thots that get the majority of simps, as per the normal distribution, then the remainder probably go into old fashioned hooking or just look for sugardaddies later on.

You must be more familiar with that side of the business. How accurate were those Russian thot patrol videos when police break and enter the houses of those women plying their business?

Just out of curiosity, have you ever had sex without having to pay for it? Between the jaded to the extreme posts, the sickening attitude in general, and the "lean into whatever people dislike" thing, I just can't imagine it.

I have seen, like, one, and it is basically cops barging in and taking thots away while they are streaming.
They seem sorta legit, but tbh I am not at all familiar with OF aside from videos I download from third parties, read "sail the seven seas", but it is always funny to hear bulgarian radio or Russian music in the background.
Lots and lots of thots, some decent-ish cosplay porn, and a lot of the thots that do it are Russian, or from the Baltics or from Ukraine.

"Ah, no, I ain't even about that scene. Not my bag, baby. But, here's some of the small background details I've noticed in such things, and my my personal critique."

I mean, don't you just hate these rightist nazis? With their hypocritical sexual standards, and weird perversions? Their support for brutal dictatorial regimes, and lack of concern for basic human rights or common decency? Now, some may say he's a fringe and doesn't represent the right, but really he's a vanguard!

Y'all see how annoying that is? When someone chooses the loudest, most obnoxious person to represent your "side" of politics? Or, just assumes that whatever they espouse must be what you believe because, God knows, there's only two possible "sides" in politics. He's not on "my side" so what he says must completely represent the "other side" en toto, right?

That hasn't been actually established, just claimed. Also were they formal BTGs or mission specific formed battle groups?
Lots of claims in this war, not lots of proof. Just like how Russia was supposed to declare total war on victory day or the Makarov was sunk. So far no real evidence that any BTGs have been rendered combat ineffective and merged. As they say military intelligence is an oxymoron.

No? It is actually entirely normal in higher intensity positional warfare that units are rotated on a schedule for rests. In WW1 the usual was about 2 weeks of trench duty before rotating out. You don't leave units on the front line indefinitely if you want them to remain useful. I get the feeling a lot of arm chair generals online really have little understanding of military operations.
..? Did you do that on purpose, or did you just do a dumb?

Of course if you split my post like that the second part is wrong. It's the fact that they're not being rotated out before suffering crippling damage that shows they can't be rotated out. I'm happy to admit that I have zero direct knowledge of such things, and am more than willing to defer to those that do. Do you have any better credentials than "self taught arm chair general" yourself, or shall we ask what @Zachowon thinks?

As for evidence for the predicate (You can google it if needed, since apparently argument structure is hard for you?) I think the best we can say is that we have different opinions about sources. If I accept your standard of "Whatever the Russian government tells us." then sure, we know close to nothing. Except I guess that history literally rewrote itself concerning the fate of the Moskva. If we accept my standard of "Every single other source that isn't Russian state controlled media combined, compared, and contrasted." then how do you respond to the argument as a whole?

This is covered in the video I posted earlier, but still, Wali found:
Much-Hyped Sniper Wali Flees Ukraine, Says 'It Was Really Violent' In Donbas

"I'm lucky to still be alive, it really came close," Wali told La Presse from his home in Montreal.

Wali added that his last mission was in Donbas in a Ukrainian unit that supported conscripted soldiers. He recounted a terrifying incident involving two Ukrainian conscripts that shook him. Wali said he and the conscripts had just taken up position near a trench exposed to fire from Russian tanks when the two men decided to come out of their blankets to smoke a cigarette.

"I told them not to expose themselves like that, but they weren't listening to me," Wali told La Presse. Within seconds, a "highly accurate" shellfire from a Russian tank erupted next to them. "It exploded solid. I saw the shrapnel go by like lasers. My body tensed up. I couldn't hear anything, I immediately had a headache. It was really violent," he added.

"It smelled of death, it's hard to describe; it's a macabre smell of charred flesh, sulfur, and chemicals. It's so inhuman, that smell," Wali added.
...
have no injuries. I say to myself: how far can I roll the dice? I don't want to lose what I have here," said Wali, often described as the world's deadliest sniper.

The sniper also had a "rather disappointing" assessment of the deployment of Western volunteer fighters.

Well, he is french, so it is logical that he would run away if the odds are not massively in his favor.

And despite all of this the West still claims that the Ukrainians are winning. What are they gonna call Kiev, Lovov and every other city west of the Dneper getting turned into burned out craters, a draw?

It's funny that all the "quotes" from him are in the kind of bad English you get with Russian/English translation but not French/English.

I saw him in a previous video. The well advertised volunteers aren't doing as well as expectations go.

What is Zachowon's qualifications? Because I haven't been impressed with his military knowledge so far and he refused to say. Being a grunt doesn't make you an expert.
What proof is there that they suffered crippling damage? You haven't even demonstrated that! Just a bunch of substanceless claims.

You see to have the view that any speculation by the Ukrainians or US media is true. I however am just triangulating between all the available sources and being skeptical of all. You might want to try that.

Of course why would they do well? I mean their morale will fall sharply once they enter real combat. Everyone that first enters combat will be shocked. But if the people who are fighting for their homes, or freedom, or religion they could push through it for those higher ideals. Why would foreigners care about people they've never met and a place they don't call home. The only decent foreigners would be outright mercenaries those that make their living fighting war, and require to have a good reputation to get contracts. But even that isn't a guarantee, it's probably like 75 percent chance of getting trash, and only a 25 percent chance of getting decent troops. The local Ukrainians would make good troops. The Azov Nazis would be among the best regular troops Ukraine has outside it's special forces, since they can't lay down their arms it's do or die for them they can't surrender to Russia and when your back is to the wall the only thing you can do is fight. They may lose but they will savage any Russian forces they engage.

It's more than that. If they're veterans they're no longer fighting against an insurgency and instead facing a conventional force without their own existing air and artillery support they once had in their service.

Do what exactly?
Split the quote.

What is Zachowon's qualifications? Because I haven't been impressed with his military knowledge so far and he refused to say. Being a grunt doesn't make you an expert.
Being a paid professional with access to privileged information is literally the definition of what makes you an expert. From your response, I'm guessing you don't have any better credentials than self rated arm chair expert?

What proof is there that they suffered crippling damage? You haven't even demonstrated that! Just a bunch of substanceless claims.

The "speculation" by US, UK, AUS, etc. intelligence agencies is based on all sorts of sources. Including, but not limited to, radar, video and humint sources they're not willing to divest to the public. Thus far, they've been far more accurate than relying on Russian state media.

So no mention of mass mobilization, no mention of nuke threats to the West, a weak and false but domestically acceptable olive branch to the west when he brought up western WW2 vets, and promises of taking care of the kids of wounded/lost soldiers.

Methinks Putin has bit off more than he can chew and knows it, so he's trying to protect himself from internal rivals and trying to get the international opinion to soften a bit.

Though I expect most surviving WW2 vets would probably prefer to kill Putin than be at that parade.

Or he's playing the long game. Slow and steady wins the race. Don't go for sudden quick victories that might trigger US or NATO entry into the war, drag it out and wait for the Western publics to get bored of the war, sick of the expense of it, and be more focused on the accumulating economic problems at home. That is already starting. Stagflation, market collapse, political unrest at home, etc. is all building in the west. All this western media bullshit about internal dissent in Russia is projecting what is happening at home on to the Russians. As it is Russia is already making more money from the new economic trade system than they were before the war by exporting less and the Ruble is stronger than it was before the war. US international relationships are falling apart, see how the Saudis are basically assisting the Chinese-Russia economic war against the US to the point that the US is starting to turn on them:

This is siege warfare, militarily, politically, and economically.
No signs Russia is actually losing other than US propagand in the media:

Putin is more popular at home than ever:

Other than the loss of the moskva, the pathetic sorty rate, the loss of captured ground in the north and north east, the elaborate attempted deception measure... But sure, if Russia and Russia alone see2lutti4frinrs.
The loss of the Moskva changes what exactly?
The sortie rate is unnecessary given the artillery that the Russians have, as they planned for NATO air superiority. As it stands their artillery is crushing the Ukrainians or have you not noticed their advancing through several fortified belts that were built up over 8 years? Air support is expensive per sortie, much more so than artillery, so why use that when they can save it for precision attacks? As it stands they've ruined Ukraine's war industry to the point that Zelensky says it will take at least $600 billion to repair.
The Russians voluntarily gave up ground in the north because it didn't matter to their objectives, meanwhile they've only gained territory where it matters, on the south coast and in the Donbass.

Sounds like you've got western media brain rot.

Putin's speak before the parade was...interesting; missed the first few minutes, but the ending bit...I think he is trying to save his own ass from internal rivals, and very few of the people in the stands look impressed.

He's made sure to say he respects the US, Brits, and France in international work, and he said something to the effect he wished Western WW2 vets had been able to be present, but were banned from attending.

I don't think he understands most US surviving WW2 vets would probably very much like to kill him.

Edit: Also he said the US threatened to use nuke's first in this situation, and I remember hearing that Trump threatened to nuke Moscow's gold dome's if they moved on Kyiv. So he might actually be telling the truth, but hey, the threat worked while Truimp was in office. He brought the Nork's to the table through similar stuff, he wasn't scared of Putin.

Putin looks like a scared, ill man who has bitten off more than he can chew and is trying to keep up his own narrative while not pushing any farther internationally.

The WW2 vets thing was weak, but domestically acceptable olive branch, even if it's pure BS.

Do you have a source for Trump making this threat to Putin back when Trump was still in office?

Please note this video showing a BMP-3 with markings from the 102nd Motorized Rifle Regiment paired with T-80BVs - which aren't operated by any formation of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army. That strongly suggests composite units are in use - i.e. battle-damaged units being merged to make up for casualties. See also T-80BVMs and BTR-82As spotted moving together in Donbas; as the commentator says there are no known Russian units with that combination.
What does that have to do with anything I said?

BTW if you actually want a full response please keep posts reasonable in length, because no non-autist has the time and patience to deal with your insanity posts.

Sounds like you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Interesting coming from the loon who is the real version of this guy:

Oh, as for cost, the United States gave Afghanistan 73 billion dollars over the near twenty years it was involved there. To-date, the aid given to Ukraine since the beginning of the Biden administration amounts to... 2 billion dollars. And unlike Afghanistan the taxpayer can see very, very clearly what the return-on-investment is in the form of lots of expensive things - sometimes big expensive things like 12,000 ton missile cruisers - getting blown to hell. So I wouldn't bet on the sympathies of the Western public turning against providing aid and assistance - especially now that the "never again" mantra is being put to the test by the literal piles of murdered civilians from Russian-occupied areas.

Worth noting that white Christian Ukrainians might also be more sympathetic in Western eyes relative to Afghan Muslims, some of whom have previously been known to engage in pederasty.

That, and Westerners aren't very sympathetic to the idea of countries conquering other countries by force against their will. Putin is following the Hitler/Mussolini/Saddam Hussein playbook here, after all.
