If it was an aircraft carrier then it would be worth the effort of salvaging but its just a cruiser so I suppose itll just rust in the black sea.
It might not actually rust much. Doesn't the Black Sea have certain conditions at its bottom that lend themselves towards ship preservation? But even if I'm remembering correctly it likely depends on how deep the waters are where it sank.

edit:

Even regular lakes are good for ship preservation (lots of well preserved Great Lakes shipwrecks over 100 years old), let alone ancient anoxic lakes buried under the Black Sea.

Why do you go try to salvage such an old ship?
Is a waste of effort and resources. If is brand new, I understand, but an almost 40 years old...
Almost 50 since it was designed and construction began.
I really must see if there is a Moskva shipgirl, or rather, shipboy, to get everyone on here so hot and bothered all the time.

Its a badly burned ship that sank under tow and is 40 years old, no way anyone is salvaging that for further use. Its most likely future was either breaking yards or SinkEx even when it was still being towed.
The Russians probably aren't raising Moskva to repair her in a drydock.

If the water's shallow enough for the wreck to be a navigation hazard it'll get salvaged and scrapped to a) get it out of the way and b) keep sensitive stuff out of non-Russian hands.

In deeper water how much gets salvaged depends on how accessible it is.

Yeah, and who knows how much potentially environmentally nasty stuff is in that ship, too.

Some (allegedly) funnies.

Looks like Nature is Healing, Russians Were the Virus... blah blah blah.

This Ukrainian Armored Vehicle has been destroyed seven times.

Russian troops learning about... something.

Technically Correct is Best Correct

Can you spot the convoy? Granted... you have a better angle...

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
I heard it was hyped up with secret advisors and trainers from the West that also got caught in there because the Russians actually struck first.

Unlikely. The west had ample warning as to the invasion (the CIA was being yelled at for constantly warning about it by Zelensky, who thought it was making war inevitable).

I disagree with all of the above takes and confidently state they'll unleash all of the Mutants they captured from the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone into the depths of the facility and purge it of all Human life... Military and Civilian... Injured or otherwise.

Then they'll shrug and be like "Oh must've been rats that ate them." 🤷‍♀️

I highly doubt the French were helping train Ukraine in the first place. If there's training, it's almost all gonna be US led, so if US leaves, they'd probably leave too.
After Afghanistan and the AUKUS fallout I don't think they're inclined to trust what the US says in that period.

Well the new rumor here is that there's 1500 Romanian mercenaries in Ukraine including within Mariupol.

Unsure if they belong to the same unit that had fifty Polish mercenaries killed in it one day... reportedly... 😏

Keeping in mind Romanians are a not insignificant minority in Ukraine already.

Plus there has been a social media post or a few of Moldovan Volunteers.

Goodie. More rumours. I bet it's denial all round. If it's real it's deniable forces. If it's not real it's more rumour fodder.
