‘2019 Netherlands To 1939’.

This happens on January 1st of both years, just so we’re clear. Hope the Dutch pack enough guns to deter Germany and can expedite Allied victory in the coming war.

Modern-day Japan gets ISOTd to:
September 3rd, 1945
July 8th, 1853
December 7th, 1941

Modern-day Vladivostok gets ISOTd to February 8th, 1904
Each merits a thread of their own.
As to the last - some very cold Russians there ... and very hurting Japan.
I'd expect an independent Far Eastern Republic/Tsarstvo, though. The cultural gap is enormous.

Cohones.
EDIT
Sorry, coJones - the "j" is pronounced as "h".

2019 Netherlands To 1939’.
The uptime "degenerates" are zerg rushed and swamped by the Wehrmacht.

perhaps they will get a semi-autonomous situation with their own constitution, like the Duchy of Finland.
It will be more interesting what happens next, though.

Sorry, I no speak Portuguese!

Good point - could be autonomy. In their case - pretending to be part of Russia :)

No sweat :)
Actually cojones is Castillian/Spanish - in Portuguese it would be quilhos.
EDIT:
I later remembered that the analog is colhões

So, I'm getting sent back in time, huh? Thankfully this is before Corona. Faith in the capabilities of our government isn't hopelessly depleted yet, as it sort of is right now.

Hindsight is an enormus advantage, and the Dutch role in the production of advanced military systems on a global scale is... bigger than most people know. It's not something that's advertised loudly. It offers certain possibilities.

In any event, even though the Dutch military is severely under-funded by any reasonable standard these days, advanced tech is such an advantage that there's no way Hitler could win. Also, the modern-day USA is gone, and it's an open secret that the Americans still have nuclear weapons on one of their bases in the Netherlands. So... invade and get nuked, Adolf.

Didn't know the Dutch hosted American nukes, but thanks. Although, given how widespread US military assets are, I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. Otherwise, for a regime that once boasted about "Aryan science" and nukes being impossible, they may very well eat those words.

In the mid to long-term, I'm guessing legal disputes will arise over who the rightful owners of those nukes are, the Netherlands or the downtimer United States? Ditto with non-proliferation treaties and attempts to prevent other hostile nations from acquiring nuclear technology, in advance. ("We're looking at you, Uncle Joe...")

There were actually quite a few semi-autonomous subjects of Imperial Russia, Georgia, for example, had it's own aristocracy running a lot of stuff, there were also the Cossacks, and the aforementioned Finland and Poland and the baltic states.
IMHO the downstream Russians will be very eager to keep the Upstreamers happy, while as the Upstreamers will prefer to spare 'their' country a few devastating wars, crises, Communism, and massive territorial losses.

Tokyo, and London, and Washington and Berlin, though, just might eat a nuke, each.

'ATL 20th Century Superpowers'.

Note that this doesn't necessarily mean preventing every last OTL superpower from attaining that status IATL, though the roster should still look different here. (Based on previous discussions, a Nationalist China that won and a Tsarist Russia that liberalized would qualify for the title.)

What about a surviving Napoleonic France?

Besides the usual suspects - with no WWI it'd be the UK.
And with no WWI a superpower USA is unlikely.

I assume the US would still be a great power, though, if mostly economically and with most of its power projection confined to the Americas.

'2020 Philippines To 1940'.

This happens on January 1st, just so we're clear. Good news is that they're spared from Covid, but as for the bad news... well, you know the rest.

Japanese "tourists" are coming to do hentai things to them ...

More good things:
As the Filipinos "blab" about OTL, there is no Weserubung. No Fall Gelb and sicklecut. No Italian war entry. No Pearl Harbor.
There is a collective sigh of relief as McArthur is ISOTed to ... somewhere ... anywhere ... which is a Good Thing.

FA-50 will do well against Japanese aircraft, if they have enough spare parts to last them until invasion. They (along with Spyders) are too few to stop the Japanese aircraft, but they will inflict considerable casualties and significantly curtail their activities. Philippine army is fully motorised, so it can quickly respond to any landings, bringing their superiority in firepower and communications to bear.
Problem is the navy, it is not geared towards surface combat, it's most effective weapons are 76 mm guns, which while accurate are rather inadequate to deal with cruisers and battleships.
