I've listened to some honest lefties talk about him...like Krystal from Breaking Points. She's as much of a dumb lefty as it gets, but she's honest, and I am taking her word for it.
Which is pretty much what I said. He doesn't need to lead or make big decisions, or do much of anything other than fill a seat and vote for Democrat policies. Show up. Vote. Go home. That's it. That's all you need out of a senator. He's a blue vote, that's what matters.
Partly, yes. But also keep in mind that there are a couple other things in play, especially (again) Oz being a shit-tier candidate *from outside of the state.* Most people don't appreciate that kind of person showing up and suddenly taking a Senate seat, unless said state is so solidly one color that Ham Sandwich will beat a candidate from the other party (see: Clinton, Hillary).
Pennsylvania is very much not a solid Republican state. Parachuting Oz in was incredibly dumb, and not helped by the fact that the PA GOP is absolutely incompetent about candidate vetting and the like.
