You would be surprised
Yeah, suburban women can usually absorb higher gas prices over the long run, but they had considered Roe as a 'constitutional right' for 50 years...

I think some in the GOP, particularly more liberal minded fiscal conservatives might think social issues are losing issues for the GOP, because they are still stuck in a Boomer mindset where stock prices and social pressures mean more than the Constitution to their day-today life and decisions. They treat Roe being overturned like it's an UXO that might explode on them in Nov.

Worthwhile indeed. I've long held that people should be allowed to take whatever drug they desire.

But then I'm only barely on the right wing as it is.
Being 'Right Wing', and trying to maintain cred as such, is overrated.

It helps in GOP primaries and fundraising, but on the general social level...it isn't all that useful.

The GOP has little desire to reflect on why this is, other than to blame the Left for lies and being better at PR, while studiously ignoring the damage their own worship of foreign interventions has done to the US and what powers it has given the Dems.

The Dems of today would not be nearly as powerful now if not for the domestic tools Bush Jr. gave them, and wonderful PR against the Right the Bush Jr. generated and helped reinforce from previous issues (Satanic Panic regarding D&D ring any bells).

Love the leftist replies saying this is fake or a false flag. Ya know, the same stuff they criticize right-wingers as "conspiracy theorists" for. Anyone prominent say this should get the Alex Jones slander/libel treatment.

Anyway, whats the general consensus on how the midterms are looking. CNN is claiming that the Row v Wade decision is going to win it for the Democrats, but I think they are huffing copium.
CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC & ABC are in for a rude awakening come November 8th.

Patience, all things come in time. The devil gets his due.
Devil seems to be taking his sweet time
Unless a Red Wave occurs, nothing will happen to change the current social clusterfuck that is the source of this sort of bullshit.

And anyone who tells you, or acts like, a Red Wave is 'assured' is selling cope and 'wishful assumptions'.

Out of all the people on this site, the only one who's been consistently on the ball with political predictions is @Rocinante.

Honestly I'm not sure even a red wave will help. If all we get are a bunch of mini mitch mcconnells then nothing will happen.

Politics always works on a delay, and we are going through a realinment, so this is a major change.

That said the democrats are openly putting their political enemies into prison, deplatforming them and persicuting them. It only takes a couple family members assasinated by Atifia types to change your atitude.
