No I meant what i said, they'll be sleepers, running as Republicans.
So if you have a white guy and black guy in a Republican primary, your safest bet is to vote for the white guy. Yeah, he could also be a sleeper, but this is a black woman talking to a black guy about her plans, which will likely include other black people, so it is the safer option to simply not vote for the black guy. It's not foolproof, but suddenly it's become a legitimate tactic.
This is terrible for black people. She just made things worse for black people in SC.

I agree. I've noticed that everytime US Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) is on the statewide ballot: 2014 (special), 2016 and 2022: the idiotic South Carolina Democrats put up an African American as their nominee against Scott

Maybe she does. I'm sure the older Democrats can all see it, but they have to go along with it and act like it's business as usual. But I don't think that's why she's retiring. She's just ancient, it notes there that her first political campaign was in 1969.
and California still hasn't gotten its federal bailout....
