This shit does nothing but harm black people. Because now that her plan is out in the open, it's become a sensible preventative measure to just not vote for black Republicans.
No I meant what i said, they'll be sleepers, running as Republicans.Don't you mean Black Democrats?
Scott still gonna win reelection in a landslide this fall anyway.Ouch, that won't end well.
I'll believe that when I read about her going to jail or being kicked out of politics.Ouch, that won't end well.
I agree. I've noticed that everytime US Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) is on the statewide ballot: 2014 (special), 2016 and 2022: the idiotic South Carolina Democrats put up an African American as their nominee against ScottOuch, that won't end well.

So if you have a white guy and black guy in a Republican primary, your safest bet is to vote for the white guy. Yeah, he could also be a sleeper, but this is a black woman talking to a black guy about her plans, which will likely include other black people, so it is the safer option to simply not vote for the black guy. It's not foolproof, but suddenly it's become a legitimate tactic.
This is terrible for black people. She just made things worse for black people in SC.
If you're a betting person, who do you see winning the Nevada Senate race between Laxalt and Cortez Masto in November?Just goes to show why voting records are important. And the ability for a party to censure any representative who tilts too far to the other side.
Maybe she does. I'm sure the older Democrats can all see it, but they have to go along with it and act like it's business as usual. But I don't think that's why she's retiring. She's just ancient, it notes there that her first political campaign was in 1969.Is she recognising a political realignment?
