Generally I'd be skeptical of late stage extending ballots to people, but there's obvious reason for an exception here.

Also, for those interested, the betting market is usually the best prognosticator of who is gonna win. Predictit.org gives a 63% chance of a NH Dem Senate win, for example. Note that these aren't poll numbers, this is percentage chance of a win.

I don’t suppose you have evidence pointing to that? I know Muslims tend to be very socially conservative — much more so than even the “Jesusland” Evangelical demographic, as @Circle of Willis said above — but I’m not sure about this guy or the others you’ve accused.

Nearly the entire population of Muslims believes that the Sharia and other Islamic codes should replace all other forms of law everywhere.

That's one of the core tenants of their faith. By the sword, if necessary make the world a Caliphate.

It is not a religion compatible with our republic.

But it sure as hell is compatible with breaking Wokism and scattering it to the four winds. So I say Inshallah brother, may peace be upon our new Right-wing brothers and may God bless them with victories.

You may feel that way now, but remember: “To be united by hatred is a fragile alliance, at best.”

Hopefully, more moderate Muslims can be “absorbed” into the (predominantly Christian) MAGA base over time with minimal hiccups, while the shouty fundamentalists get excised or simply drowned out by everyone else. Too bad things are rarely that simple, especially nowadays. :(

Doesn’t mean those coalitions always remain stable for long, though.

In our case, I’d expect there to be a metric ton of purging and purity-spiraling once the winners finally take power, given all the pent-up anger, resentment, and zeal that underlies these sorts of movements when things are at their most dire. Caesar may have been more merciful and magnanimous than most, but if the populist leader we get is another Lenin, Stalin, or Hitler instead, well…

Honestly, as far as muslims go, I'm pretty confident in America's ability to assimilate. Note that comparing with European migrants doesn't hold: they people emigrated for far different reasons and from different places as well.

Compare our African immigrants and their uncle Phil/George Jefferson style life trajectory with the Africans that cause a shitton of organized crime issues in Italy. For an example of that.
