That's a shame.
From what inunderstand it still isn't over as only 95% has been tallied.Yep, the only upside is that Herrera managed to keep it close. Got within like 3% and less than 1,000 votes of Gonzales last I checked, and that's on top of forcing Gonzales to outspend him 10:1 and bring in all sorts of establishment big guns. Still a good showing for a complete political novice with zero prior experience, even if 'close' ultimately only really counts when it comes to horseshoes & hand grenades. The RINO state speaker also survived by narrow margins.
One might think that such close results will force self-reflection on the part Gonzales but, being the average RINO thug full of entitlement who will flip out if anyone with an (R) next to their name doesn't immediately fellate him, he's since moved past calling the Herrera backers pedo Klansmen and has been openly swearing to target them for revenge if he wins, which he just has. So I think any chance of him learning anything from this instead of quadrupling down on shitting down real conservatives' throats is negligible. Which might provide much beneficial fodder for Herrera if he runs again in two years, assuming TX23 won't have been irreversibly altered for the worse by all those illegal invaders Gonzales is determined to spread his constituents' assholes for.
I'm not sure if there are even enough votes left for Herrera to close the gap (and doing so means he'd probably need most or even 100% of said remaining votes with such a thin margin, rather improbable to say the least). But hey, if I wake up this morning to him having achieved a miraculous turnaround, that would sure be nice. It looks as though all remaining hope for his candidacy will come down to El Paso. From what inunderstand it still isn't over as only 95% has been tallied.
Within like 1.somerhing margin
Gonzales still won though. Move on.I'm not sure if there are even enough votes left for Herrera to close the gap (and doing so means he'd probably need most or even 100% of said remaining votes with such a thin margin, rather improbable to say the least). So a RINO won by 407 votes and Herrera cam have a recount.Gonzales still won though. Move on.
Fuck Herrera! So a RINO won by 407 votes and Herrera cam have a recount.
Explain, with evidence.Fuck Herrera!
Why don't you like him?Fuck Herrera!
Gonzales still won though. Move on.
How much does Gonzales pay you to post here, I wonder? It'd be real sad if it was $0. Seems like your every post here relating to this race has been fellating that RINO scoundrel and crapping on Herrera for ill-defined reasons.Fuck Herrera!
Fuck Herrera!
At this point I'm with @Circle of Willis on this. How much does Gonzales pay you to post here, I wonder? It'd be real sad if it was $0. Seems like your every post here relating to this race has been fellating that RINO scoundrel and crapping on Herrera for ill-defined reasons.
Basically the local networks projected Congressman Gonzales as the winner. At this point I'm with @Circle of Willis on this.
You have given NO reason to respond to Herrera this way. Anything of substance to add or will you just shout expletives some more like every Karen-leftist out there?
Last count was Herrera was down by 429 votes...that's a statistically insignificant number...and definitely worth a recount.
Sure, the vote count is higher for him.Basically the local networks projected Congressman Gonzales as the winner.
From what I read the losing party has to ask for one.Sure, the vote count is higher for him.
However, I will not be surprised if Herrera asks for a recount. Though...doesn't a recount trigger automatically if the vote is close enough?
This is entirely uncalled for.Fuck Herrera!
