Don't think the Dem's will flip the House
What specific reasons do you think the Dems will not flip control of the US House of Representatives ? All they need are just 5 House seats to flip the lower chamber.
I cannot see Dems being shut out: although I do have GOP flipping back the Presidency & United States Senate (picking up WV, MT, OH, PA)
B/c the support for Harris is in such a bad state it's driving down Dem enthusiasm. That means less turnout. That means less votes for the down ballots.
Basically, you're saying some elements of the Democratic Party would secretly prefer Harris going down in flames in order to end her political career. Am I correct on this theory ?
Shapiro (obviously bitter & petty based on his body language), Whitmer, Newsom, Pritzker jockeying for position in 2028.

More like he's saying (I think) that few people are excited about voting for Harris. Lack of enthusiasm means lack of turnout means underperformance at the polls even for non-Harris Democratic candidates. I'm not convinced the effect will be that large on downballot races, but it's a legitimate possibility.
That does sound like it, this adminstration is pretty damned toxic and its going to affect the down ballot stuff. On top of that the left has been constant freak out mode for the last 8 years. You cant maintain and mainline that kind of toxic energy with out getting seriously burned out. Meanwhile the right has more or less been keeping up a pretty steady pace.
I think that Harris was put forward to lose. She's the candidate they want to hang all the bad feelings/actions onto. Then they can tie the fallout to Trump.
I believe the media was hoping for a Harris win, but because the media is mentally insane to some degree so they've been pushing her as hard as they can.
The real powers in the Left are likely just looking at '28 and working up ways to sabotage a Trump Presidencey.
Honestly if you think your screwed no matter what you do and your the dems establishment side. Then you have essentially watched the crazies piss off formerally neutral factions and turn them to the right consistently for the last 20 fucking years. The progressives have been out of control for over a decade.
So putting forth a progressive canadate and letting her have the progs front and center only to have them lose in what will be a historic moment that will be talked about centuries later...
That makes sense its something that gives you more then enough cover to purge them from power, you hand them over to let the right have their vengence and then likely go fuck up the populists and then clamp down and rule the country for another 30 or so years as a unified establishment.
Of course after that it will all explode but by that time they will all be dead of natural causes and will have lived lives of unbelivable luxury
I believe NC Dems will win majority of the statewide offices on November 5th: Stein's likely going to become the Tar Heel State's 76th Governor & I think Stein wins by double digits somewhere between 12-17 points.
Let's not forget about the Obama's: who are desperately trying to prevent Trump from winning again. From what I've heard, the Obama's were still bitter about Trump beating Hillary in 2016 & from what I'm hearing Obama is hitting the campaign trail for Harris in PA, which tells me, the polling numbers are heading in Trump's favor non-stop.
Noticed every time Biden keeps saying Harris is part of his administration, her numbers continue to tank.
That's intentional on Biden's part. He yanked the knife out of his back and is jamming it into Harris, Obama and the rest as hard and as fast as he can.

12 to 17 points is eyebrow raising to say the least but I suppose the quality of his opponent has something to do with that
