Statement from NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson on Senator Vance being tapped as Vice President (07/15/2024)
Expecting more to be going down in the future.Looks like AIPAC toppled another squad member. I think they're going a bit overboard, and considering the fact that I'm already skeptical of China meddling via the Democrat party in favor of the Clintons, it would make little sense to be agnostic on this. Especially considering the fact having a left-leaning party vs. a right-leaning party is better for the democratic process than having two centrist parties, or two centre-right/centre-left parties or etc.
TLDR; having two of the same ideologies is bad, we want politicians to fight with each other instead of ganging up to fight We The People.
EDIT: Not a defense of Cori Bush, I'm agnostic on her/have no opinion one way or the other, I hate all politicians deep down inside.
It has done nothing but give the Kamala Campaign ammo about Republicans being racists. And it is gaining traction with people on the fence. It did not help the party.US Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA 03rd)'s controversial tweet on Twitter (AKA X) describing Haitian migrants as thugs, murderers, rapists, etc., has attracted quite the controversy. Any thoughts?

It wasn't meant to. Political parties are just tools to carry out political agendas. Republican voters think that the party isn't carrying out their agendas, so they're trying to force it to. Only when that's done will they start thinking about winning and losing. It has done nothing but give the Kamala Campaign ammo about Republicans being racists. Odds that crazy incidents like this will cost Republicans control of the US House of Representatives? It wasn't meant to. Political parties are just tools to carry out political agendas. The last two Congresses (including the current one) have had extremely small House majorities but I have a hunch it won't be as close this time; so whatever difference this kind of thing makes won't be the difference between having or not having a majority unless you think there are many, many districts where the Republican candidate is vulnerable to this sort of attack.Odds that crazy incidents like this will cost Republicans control of the US House of Representatives?
Your best guess on who wins control of the US House of Reprsentatives on Tuesday, 5 November 2024?The last two Congresses (including the current one) have had extremely small House majorities but I have a hunch it won't be as close this time; so whatever difference this kind of thing makes won't be the difference between having or not having a majority unless you think there are many, many districts where the Republican candidate is vulnerable to this sort of attack.
I suspect Democrats are favored to win the election, but it could go either way. If I were forced to make a specific prediction I'd predict Hakeem Jeffries is speaker in 2025.Your best guess on who wins control of the US House of Reprsentatives on Tuesday, 5 November 2024?
