I am caught between having deep distrust and suspicion of anything stated by the WHO, and furious indignation at them and others for possibly, if this is the case, the most colossal, monumental, phenomenal fuck-up of the 21st-century thus far...And then, on the third-hand, a halfway-excusing but also even FURTHER infuriating anger at them and other health officials for the now multiple-times repeated backtrackings, changes, and adjustments made that, best case, actually ARE the result of more data and better information coming into health agencies (*cough* To the depths of hell with the communist bandits of the PRC for necessitating this *cough*), but which post-date all the incomplete information and guesswork that's been pushed and publicized with those caveats and footnotes about how further data was still coming in glossed over or just never present to begin with.So according to the WHO, who have of late somewhat gotten their act together (no longer in China's interest to hide anything), asymptomatic spread of Covid-19 is preposterously rare.
What the flying fuck was the point of the shit spewing train wreck that has been the last few months then? "Grandma" died anyway, didn't she?
I can't quite settle on which one I'm feeling the most. Probably the first. The WHO can join their masters in the depths, and I'm skeptical of this kind of statement from them.
