Yes. DnD has always been "round down" when it comes to values. As Ranger is a Half Caster, for ESL calculations their level is divided by two and rounded down - so, it is rounded down to zero?
How well does this game actually work, and did they ever get Fallout 76 working properly?
Now, this game does not use a single server, right? If so can game progress be backed up in case something goes wrong?
Domt even get started on tje amount if courses one has to take just to get access once they get inside.Yes Grandpa that is correct. The game save files are on your PC or Console.
You can't access the Server that mirrors all of your Hard Drive activity and information unless your GS-12 or higher with corresponding intelligence clearance through the NSA Metadata Harvesting Reservoir at the Fort Meade Adjunct facility located within the Yucca Mountain Complex. Temporary clearance can only be granted from the onsite Information Intake Officer on Duty anyway so you don't even need to worry about it.
For my next BG3 campaign I want to follow a playthrough to discover if there is a way to overlevel in Act 1.I decided to try Honour Mode.
This is Hard with kinks - one save only, cannot reload, etc.
At my first attempt I was dead the moment I set foot on the beach - I was one-shotted by a character known for failing most of her attack rolls - Shadowheart (in my headcanon Tav identified the local Maleficia Darkness Cruella Shadowheart as a Sharran - a kill-on-sight offence in most jurisdictions).
I like this difficulty level, so different from my sloppy, finesse of a five year old (according to irreverent offspring ), save scumming manner. So much more meaningful!
When a fight is going badly - or am having a "we need to talk" sort of conversation - it is squeeky bum time*!
Three times already I had to use my last (wo)man standing to bravely run away! run away! from a fight to camp to revive the rest of the party. Withers has made well over 2k on me ...
BTW - theSecret Terrorist BaseGityanki Creche is an unbelivable XP goldmine! The pushover drunk Kobolds were worth c.1200 points!

After exploring the beach and catacombs you reach lvl3 at the Druidville gate. For my next BG3 campaign I want to follow a playthrough to discover if there is a way to overlevel in Act 1.
Dude even Story-focused mode feels hard as fuck. After exploring the beach and catacombs you reach lvl3 at the Druidville gate.
Talking and not fighting - Gityanki extermination squad, Goblintown - gets you very close to lvl4. And then everything becomes relatively easy.
If you count the Mounatin Pass as Act 1 you enter the Shadowlands on the cusp of lvl7.
Also, sleep is way OP, as are a few other spells without saves. Hold person and Hold monster are also great.Dude even Story-focused mode feels hard as fuck.
I am very tempted to make a mod with a 1 hp enemy or npc that gives tons of XP.
Thanks for the advice @Abhorsen I still think I am going to make my mod regardless I am actually thinking of making a mod that changes levelling up in the style of "Fallout 3", where you can level up traits and what not every level. Also, sleep is way OP, as are a few other spells without saves. Hold person and Hold monster are also great.
Basically, be aware of the action economy: your goal isn't to kill the enemy team. But reduce their actions to 0. So generally kill the weaker mobs first, then the stronger ones. They're just as powerful at 1hp as they are at full health.
Also, be aware of environmental damage like dropping flaming braizers, barrels, lightning on water, etc.
