Commenting on the first and last articles:
- It's not Lula who tired of the 'climate crisis' agenda - it's the West. Since the US and Europe aren't forking over the money for environmental purposes, Lula is sidelining the domestic environmental agenda, in favour of the ones who are delivering revenue - the sector that is called 'agribusiness'("agronegócio") in Brazil. As that sector usually is opposed to the environmental lobby, you get the current situation;
- Don't fall for the 'conservative Congress' fallacy; the issue here is pork-barrel politics. Congress will deliver what the Executive wants, provided enough pork is distributed. As an example, PL(the party which Bolsonaro is a member of) has sided more with Lula than Lula's own PT, because PT representatives know that if they vote for some of the things Lula is proposing, their own voters will punish them. Meanwhile, Bolsonaro's own sons follow the orders of their party leader(NOT Bolsonaro), and vote with the government.
