Is it 6th Republic time?

Given how many unstable republics you lot seem to get through, maybe you ought to give that "monarchy" thing a crack again...

Somehow, I can imagine other Western powers involving themselves in a French Civil War, especially given their proximity and France's own status as a prominent NATO member. In which case... I don't think it'll be a very simple affair, so much as a violent national struggle that snowballs into something larger pretty quickly.

What are you getting at? As in France will nit be France? Revolution? War?

Arlos is a monarchist. So he would love thay
Probably gonna explode into civil war, especially if shortage get as bad as they are predicted too, being elected by old people to basically do a barrage to Le Pen basically mean the vast majority of the youth is with one of the extreme, lot of radicalism going around and very frustrated young people who are about to be shafted by Macron.
I also know a lot of people in rural area have been equipping themselves with definitely not legal weaponry.

The French pattern has been, resist any kind of reform at all/ go insane/ new government after the madness is actually decently competent/ they slowly get replaced by incompetant morons/ resist any kind of reform at all.

One thing's for sure, Macaroni-boi has a timelimit now. The rope of 41,8% of the french hating his guts is around his neck and unless he starts bending the knee to their desires, I fully expect there to be a revolution in the next 5 years.

How many revolutions have the french behind them now?
Well, there have been 5 French republics, at least 2 French empires, and probably some change.
Also, the 42% supporting Le Pen are just the tip of the iceberg.
Lots of leftists hate his guts, and from what I am reading a bunch of rightwingers just can't force themselves to vote for Le Pen even if they despise slimy macaroni-boi.
the <30% percent that voted for him during the first round are probably all the people that he can depend on, and a lot of those are due to get a nice pile of red pills forced down their throats.

Absolutely no clue, situation is rather fluid right now, I guess it depend on who break first and what form the conflict take.
I would, at the very least not take Macron side, that’s for sure.

In my estimation, it might be "rise and shine" time for the French Monarchist movement if things go very badly. Promising stability and a return to tradition are very attractive propositions for a tired public.

Possibly, though I have to wonder whether the "powers that be" will permit that to happen. At least, barring the monarchy being constitutional and having a parliamentary system in place that makes it function more like a liberal democracy than its traditionalist cousins, just as you Brits currently have.
