What do you call the annexation of Texas?
Uh, nothing to do with the equivalent you're making? Texas won its independence via force of arms by itself with independent volunteers and existed for well over a decade before the U.S. congress voted for annexing the region and even then, both wars involved Mexico fighting back.

Your post argued that Ukraine was at fault for the invasion and that the 'civilized thing' for them to do would be to bend over backwards and take whatever Putin wanted up the rear as if that were normal and your comparison to Mexico only makes that more ridiculous because in both conflicts involving Texas Mexico never gave in until a total or humiliating ensured they did.
A lot of Right Wing youtubers that said Russia would never do this will be eating crow today. Anyone with half a brain could see an attack was coming from the Month long troop buildup.
There is a reason I never said an attack would or would not come.
Ever heard of this thing called a Monroe Doctrine?
No, he hasn't as @Marduk is polish and wouldn't be bothered to give a damn about it and even then I wouldn't say we are entitled to the Monroe doctrine.
Even if Russia was planning to invade all along, why give the enemy time by recognizing the DNR and LPR?
Because it gives them a political excuse to be there?

Here we got a dogfight at low altitude.

If the Ukrainian pilots expend all of their missiles, could they land at a NATO airport if all Ukrainian airstrips have been captured/bombs? Won't be able to rearm and go back into battle but at least they won't be captured by their enemies? Beats being shot down or landing in enemy territory.

Super illegal. I'm not even sure that they can draw pursuit over neutral countries. See the SU27 that already fled to what was it Romania?

Hm... then maybe they can fly over the Black Sea along the coast of Romania and eject, and swim to shore? Or is their only choice to land in Ukraine/escorted to a Russian airstrip and be captured, and hand the Russians a jet?
