So? He's just a kid. The good values community kid even. No rascist, white supremacist, Nazi or master racist bullshit who went there to help the community not burn it down and steal shit who legitimately used self defense against some bad hombres.

So it looks like the families are suing the city, not Rittenhouse directly.

I'm not mad at Kyle for saying he supports BLM.

Before the shooting there was a video of him out there with his gun saying he supported the protests/BLM or whatever.

He was there to protect the community from rioters. Not to make a political statement.

And now, his job is to win defamation cases against the fuckers who called him racist and tried to destroy him for the last year+.

His job isn't to make the political statements we would like him to make. His job now is to win lawsuits. Staying consistent and saying he supports BLM is the smart move. He's not our puppet, he's not our political statement.

This spits in the faces of the people calling him racist. The fact that he has been consistent with it before and after the incident that took place, and remained consistent despite the people trying to destroy him, provides lots of ammo for his defamation cases. You want to argue that a kid who supports BLM even after they've made death threats and tried to destroy his life, is racist? Good luck. He's trying to win these cases, and this will help.

Let the kid do what he needs to do to secure a solid financial future, because he's never going to get a normal job after this.

This is a big thing about why he won the case; Richards treated him as a client, not as a symbol for a cause.

Richard's said Rittenhouse wants to be a nurse, not run for office or anything like that, and no one should expect him to echo either side's usual narratives or politics.

We can still think he's a fool for continuing to support a terrorist organization, even after they tried to destroy his life.
