Rank isn’t supposed to be an excuse for treason. Rather it should bring greater scrutiny.
I'm telling you why they won't do shit.Would you stop fucking defending this traitor?
Maybe we do understand it, and think the reasoning is bullshit?I'm telling you why they won't do shit.
Maybe if yall listened of thinking "Why not charge the top brass?" When I have explained it
I can grasp that.Maybe we do understand it, and think the reasoning is bullshit?
Maybe we think your constant attempts to explain it away look a lot like defending it?
You come in here and say you're telling us why he won't face shit. WE KNOW WHY and we think it's fucking bullshit. Whereas you just shrug it off as "well that's just how it is." Well, we think "how it is," is wrong.
Can you not grasp that? We think you just shrugging it off is essentially defending it.
Which he will, which will protect him from any other generals going after him, and render all of @Zachowon patience moot because Milley will get away with it.IOn other words we need to be patient. Miley's enemies are busily sharpening their blades unless he gets a Presidential Pardon.
How can milley get a pardon if he hasn't been tried yet, every other general going for his spot will have a much better chance and have favor with more people now.Which he will, which will protect him from any other generals going after him, and render all of @Zachowon patience moot because Milley will get away with it.
This is why we cannot and should not trust the US military to police itself, particularly the upper levels, and should not trust the US military to actually be a non-partisan organization.
You do not need to be tried to get a POTUS pardon, IIRC; POTUS's pardon power has very little limitations or constraints on it.How can milley get a pardon if he hasn't been tried yet, every other general going for his spot will have a much better chance and have favor with more people now.
They would wait until Biden is no longer in office.
Just because it doesn't happen quick don't mean it won't happen.
Welcome to the US Military. Nothing moves fast
Thing is, Zachowon isn't defending Mark Milley so much as he is defending the military as an organization. Even he admits the guy should be punished, but not if it causes division within the command structure. Stability is more important than legitimacy, at least in Zachowon's mind it appears.Would you stop fucking defending this traitor?
I think he know's legitimacy is not something he can hope for after the stolen election.Thing is, Zachowon isn't defending Mark Milley so much as he is defending the military as an organization. Even he admits the guy should be punished, but not if it causes division within the command structure. Stability is more important than legitimacy, at least in Zachowon's mind it appears.
No offense, but I've gotten the impression you feel the same way.All the woke shit and Constitutional violations in the Pentagon matter less to him than if they rename a Confederate-named base after Harriette Tubman.
No, I think the Constitutional violations and woke shit come from the same mindset that placed those names on those bases in the first place; appeasement of toxic ideologies by Pentagon brass to protect/promote thier own careers. No offense, but I've gotten the impression you feel the same way.
I doubt he will get pardoned. Because this is Biden, and unless there is open talk about court martialing Milley as soon as he loses CJCS status next year, Biden wont do shit. You do not need to be tried to get a POTUS pardon, IIRC; POTUS's pardon power has very little limitations or constraints on it.
So yes, I think Milley will get away with this due to a pardon from Biden, get his retirement/golden parachute, and that no amount of patience will change that people like Milley rarely if ever answer for what they have done wrong or with ill intent, at that level.
Was she a military general?I think he know's legitimacy is not something he can hope for after the stolen election.
Now he's just trying to defend the status quo in the military, because the needed shake ups/firings of bad actors in the DoD would, at least temporarily, leave gaps and continuity issues in the chain of command.
Zach has very odd lines of what will cause him to break with the military and what he is willing to abide. All the woke shit and Constitutional violations in the Pentagon matter less to him than if they rename a Confederate-named base after Harriette Tubman.
And you think Biden, or at least his handlers, are not aware of how many people want to get at Milley for what he did?I doubt he will get pardoned. Because this is Biden, and unless there is open talk about court martialing Milley as soon as he loses CJCS status next year, Biden wont do shit.
And?Was she a military general?
Did she hold any actual military rank and not some unofficial one?
No? Then she shouldn't get a based named afterher.
Maybe you have not, but lets not pretend it isn't happening. No, I care for all that shit. The thing is, Just because people at the Pentagon say something, doesn't make it true. I have yet to see any CRT or woke stuff in the Army, yet Milley said he would look into it.
Majority of the military just want to either get out, war to happen, or for politics to stop ruining our job.
He's not defending the man. Let that go will ya'.Would you stop fucking defending this traitor?
No, because he is barley able to speak in coherent sentences and is trying to focus on COVID.And you think Biden, or at least his handlers, are not aware of how many people want to get at Milley for what he did?
You do know what the USNS line of ships is right? They aren't combat vessels but cargo ships. Find me a combat Navy vessel named after someone who was not a military member. And?
There is a USNS Bob Hope, after all, and he was not active duty military, yet still contributed greatly to the war effort with his morale tours and songs.
People who are non-active duty personnel have made large contributions to the US military efforts, and Tubman did have rank, even if people like you do not want to acknowledge it because it was 'unofficial' and you think she was just a 'mascot'.
How much is that happening in the Army? You pointed out EXACTLY what I knew you were going to. Buckley is AF. AF has always been the most Woke branch of the military, no doubts about it. Hell, even the Navy is more woke then they used to be. Both branches are struggling, especially the NAvy right now.Maybe you have not, but lets not pretend it isn't happening.
Or do I need to go get the articles about that officer at Buckley who was canned for critisizing CRT in that podcast, or get the Congressional hearing recordings where GOP reps were reading letters they'd received about CRT issues to Milley and Austin?
You keep acting like because you haven't had to deal with much CRT stuff, because your commander is sane enough to see how toxic it is or just doesn't want to waste time on it, that CRT stuff is not being pushed in other units or branches.
Neither Pelosi or Kamala are addled like Biden, and Pelosi may as well be POTUS; if she wants Milley pardoned (and given their interactions over Trump this is a good bet) he will be pardoned. No, because he is barley able to speak in coherent sentences and is trying to focus on COVID.
Tubman was part of the military and faced combat even before she joined up, you just do not want to acknowledge that, because to you she was just a 'mascot' for a Union unit. You do know what the USNS line of ships is right? They aren't combat vessels but cargo ships. Find me a combat Navy vessel named after someone who was not a military member.
Find me a military base named after someone who wasn't a general or a high ranking officer in the US Military.
naming something that is not combat related is normal, like the USNS Bob Hope. We have plenty of things named after a lot of people on bases, but a base should not be named after someone who was not an active member of the fucking military.
You keep trying to hedge your argument by saying it's other branches and that no official CRT policy has come down, while ignoring the commanders who have pushed it of their own accord because they want to get a career in DC, and ignore how even the idea the CRT stuff is gaining traction in the military affects the willingness of people to join or stay in.How much is that happening in the Army? You pointed out EXACTLY what I knew you were going to. Buckley is AF. AF has always been the most Woke branch of the military, no doubts about it. Hell, even the Navy is more woke then they used to be. Both branches are struggling, especially the NAvy right now.
See, without being inside and seeing how things work, as well as without being able to know when new things from the DoD come out.
There has not been a single DoD policy regarding CRT or any of that. Nor has there been any DA policy. We have one that prevents any one from discriminating aginst anyone. No matter race or gender. Not the same as CRT
I doubt he will be pardoned. They probably are ignorant of the way military justice works same as you. They probably think he will be fine, and perhaps try to get him a position where he cant, but if they pardon him, they admit to him doing wrong doing. That destroys any hope of them having military support for elections, that destroys any hope in them trying to push the blame OFF biden and Kamala for A-stan fuck up. Because Milley and Austin and McKensie all said it was Biden that caused A-stan. Pardoning them makes their point even more so, because if they fall, they take down the rest.Neither Pelosi or Kamala are addled like Biden, and Pelosi may as well be POTUS; if she wants Milley pardoned (and given their interactions over Trump this is a good bet) he will be pardoned.
Oh? Was she in the fields getting canon balls shot at her Watching neighbors and friends die horribly next to her? Was she commanding soldiers into their deaths hoping it leads to a swift victory?Tubman was part of the military and faced combat even before she joined up, you just do not want to acknowledge that, because to you she was just a 'mascot' for a Union unit.
It has caused issues with the Navy. The army is having recruitment issues for other reasons, and they are trying to fix that first and foremost. You keep trying to hedge your argument by saying it's other branches and that no official CRT policy has come down, while ignoring the commanders who have pushed it of their own accord because they want to get a career in DC, and ignore how even the idea the CRT stuff is gaining traction in the military affects the willingness of people to join or stay in.
You assume they don't know, instead of just don't care. The Biden Admin said they weren't going to punish anyone for A-stan, and still had full confidence in Milley, so there will be no political backing under the Dems for action against Milley, even after his term is up.I doubt he will be pardoned. They probably are ignorant of the way military justice works same as you. Ever heard of this thing called the Underground Railroad?Oh? Was she in the fields getting canon balls shot at her Watching neighbors and friends die horribly next to her? Was she commanding soldiers into their deaths hoping it leads to a swift victory?
Sorry, You need to make a better argument then "She saw some combat!". THey haven't named a base after Auddie Murphy, someone who is the most decorated soldier of all time. They haven't named a base after Ike, after Pershing.... All of these men deserve a base before Tubman, as she was a minor military member, compared to those men. If we name a base after Tubman we are admitting she is above those that have served for far longer, and had led men to die to make the world better.
Tubmanshould have something named after her, but not a military base.AFAIK, every base is named after a general. If she does nothave that rank, she does not deserve to have a based named after her.
Name a new medical capable vehicle after her. Name a medical facility. name something else, but not a fucking base.
That may have been true before. It has caused issues with the Navy. The army is having recruitment issues for other reasons, and they are trying to fix that first and foremost.
I am going to tell you this. Commanders that are doing that, will not have the people above them happy if people are writing congressmen etc etc. Because they listen to those below them, they listen to those that are effected.
Getting into DC is less going political and woke, nd is more trying to do that AFTERE you get there. Before just gets you called out by everyone
