Firstly, those Scorponek droids. Gotta be the most underwhelming “minibosses” one might see in Star Wars. Those dual heavy blasters they have, I didn’t see a single person in Fett’s crew get vaporized by them, not even knocked into the air. It’s like they were deliberately shooting to miss the juicy target of all those extras running in the open. Add to that, those blasters can blow up the freetown speeder but they can’t blow through the concrete wall the good guys were hiding behind in the last fight scene?

1. This is at least partially justified by the fact that Scorponek annihilator droids are canonically anti-tank vehicles which are not designed to target infantry, on top of which their guns clearly aren't stabilized to fire accurately on the move against targets of any size.

2. That actually makes sense for heavy adobe-type walls, which are fairly weak against physical impacts but naturally absorb and diffuse energy.

I liked it. Mostly because it gave good call backs to the Spaghetti Westerns of the 1960s. If you have seen any you will see the parallels.
The Good, The Bad, and The Mando.

Also, I got to wonder what Anakin's Force Ghost would make of Fett ruling over his old home town and taking Jabba's throne?

Like the only good guys that died were a few unnamed Vespa Power Rangers and the two Gamorreans. And even that because the Blue Ranger wanted to "Protect the town."

I was getting bad vibes for the poor Piggies when they had them all spread out across town to "scout" for the Pykes and all of them failing in such a task. Then I saw the Klatooinian Thugs show up and was like Oh No they'll just shoot the Gamorreans.

But they didn't. And I was like oh there's only six of them. The Gamorreans could take them on. Then the Piggies died without killing or hitting even one of them. 😢

Sadly they were the most interesting Original Characters introduced in the entire series. Then again maybe just mod them and bring them back along with everyone else. "No one is ever really gone." :p

The Mod Gang should have had their Bikes modified to do this......

It would have been damn kool for combat operations. :p

I think what bites this series in the butt more than anything is the fact that it was about 13-26 episodes worth of content crammed into 7 episodes. They tried to make the format more like the mandoloran when it would have benifeted greatly with a more clone wars style format. This is very evident in the final battle or should I say lack there of. Where was Boba's muscle Fenn promised him and for that matter, where was the Pyke's so called army?

we needed like 5 or 6 episodes dedicated to introducing the Boba's hired muscle (and maybe the pyke's generals) and at least 2 maybe even 3 episodes dedicated to the battle.

Charecters and units that could have been brought in.

Boba's muscle

Why Didn't we see Bossk or Dengar? Heck maybe even Aurra Sing (Yes I know it's said she died in Solo, but we never saw the body. How many times has Cad Bane "Died" now. They should have been the first on Boba's list

Omega and The Bad Batch

Maybe it'd have given to many spoilers to the Fate of the Bad Batch, but I think it'd have been cool to see a grown up Omega and either a remanent or newly established Bad Batch Interact with Boba. Not to mentioned the varied skillset would have made her a useful ally and could have gotten boba more personally involved in the story.

Cal Kastis:

fan service I know but i'd been nice to have a follow up to Fallen Order.

Various mercs: Whether stomtroopers or heck survivng clone troopers thier needed to be more soliders vehicles and ships on the battlefield, somthing to give a sense of scale

Pyke forces:

Mara Jade/surviving Inquisitors

It'd be a balance with Cal being on Boba's side and it'd give some nice insight as to what happeneed to any Dark Jedi that survived the fall of the empire. Bonus points if we get a Mara Jade Cameo with hints of her turning to the light and meeting Luke in the future

Moff Gidion:

if your going to bring the mandalorian into this, you might as well have brought in Moff Gidioan as sort of the bad guy couterpart have it be an "Enemy of my enemy alliance."

Qira

have her be the big bad leader of the pikes and make the war as much a war attrition between Boba and herself.

Various Separatist droids and vehicles:

A clone wars style battle would have been nice. Give it a sense of scale and importance. it'd also make Tatooine a prominent part of something. Also, NO BLATENT SCENE LIFT FROM KING KONG!!!

that's just me though. What do you think?
