What If? You are dropped into the setting of the last game you played. What do you do?

The last game I played was Assassin's Creed Odyssey so I would be dropped into Greece around the time of the battle of Thermopylae. So if I was gifted the means to talk to them I would try to just set up shop and be trying to eke out an existence.

I know far too little to do much past that so that's what I would be doing.

Well, I'm dropped into Minecraft. Specifically the Go Create modpack, which adds lots of new gadgets, contraptions, and building materials to the game that make Vanilla seem pretty, well, vanilla.

Sadly, I'm a mediocre builder and barely know how to put together all the machines I'll need to make full use of the game, so for the time being, a dirt hut and manual material-gathering will have to suffice. :cautious:

I'm stuck on Zeta Halo.

I guess I'll die.

Wait. Everyone else has done that joke to death.
I guess I'll commandeer a Pelican with my newfound SI powers and start pulling the UNSC together. Spartans are fine, sure, but they're special operators, not the leaders that the datapads make them out to be. Thousands of Marines must have made landfall from the Infinity, and there's got to be some officer who knows what he's doing. After that, it's a matter of fighting a guerilla war against the Banished while searching Zeta Halo's structure for some kind of defense system that we can turn against what few warships they still possess.

As somebody who has played Minecraft from the days when it didn't even have anything trying to attack you I like to think I'm at least an ok builder. My thing is I can't do most anything dealing with Redstone and wiring it to stuff. I have never messed with it past the opening of doors and the like. As such everything I have ever done in the game has been done 100% by hand. If you saw half the shit I have done over the years I'm sure you would think I was mad.

I once made a house so stupidly big I put a rail network in just so it didn't take me ages to get to the flipping door. Doesn't sound so bad. The kicker was I had my tree farm on the ground because the thought of having it in my house never entered my teenage mind but my house was in the air. So being the lazy ass I am I just cut down the trees and took it all up and made it bit by bit over the course of five and a half days. By the time I was done I had a house to the max height and a few outposts (4) that could easily have been my house.

I also had a pet dog because once I killed everybody in the village I needed somebody to love.

That went dark at the end rather suddenly...

Yeah...I guess it did. But haven't we all killed us a villager or two in our time in Minecraft? I know for a fact I have removed a fairly good number over the years. On a far less dark take in my newest world, I befriend a dog and give him a house. I even named it after my mother's dead dog.

In another game, I made my late stepfather, Dave and have him go out and fight in various tournaments in Mount & Blade.

Still kind of dark though...you know because of the whole dead thing. But still...I think it's a bit lighter than killing off a whole village.

...Skyrim! F*ck!

This is a literal worst-case scenario for anybody, especially if I am the Dragonborn as well and vanquishing Alduin falls upon me as well as beating Miraak and Harkon.

I am in no way a swordfighter or proficient with any sort of melee weapon period my only skill in ranged is with the bow, although modern hunting bows are different beast from those found in Skyrim so I am pretty defenseless. Thus, the best option for me would be to run off to WinterHold college and take some classes.

I wouldn't know. I'm a Rust player.
Mind you, I'm the friendly peaceful PVE solo type, so if I ever kill anyone ingame, it's because they are actively trying to kill me.
And in Rust, both human players and NPCs alike can respawn when killed - so it's never really over.

Huh. Interesting.

Any mods or modpacks you've played or would recommend playing? Per my post above, I've been playing Go Create and haven't gotten anywhere with all the cool machines and shit I can make. Much less building a base!

I play on PlayStation 4 so I don't think I can do mods or the like. So I have never done anything with them. I have seen some mods of course but all of them would be old as I haven't looked at anything Minecraft in a good long while.

Thanks.

Hope whatever other games you're playing are enjoyable and that you survive Assassin's Creed without too many scars to show for it. ;)

Bah, geeks there days and their video games.

I played D&D set in the Dragonlance setting. Which would really suck for me since it seems like there are horrible monsters everywhere. Hopefully I can get some player character powers or I’m in trouble.
