China Wuhan Virus Pandemic

Well we already know they were eating the test animals, and selling the meat to local markets, so I'm not sure why you would think getting splashed with urine and blood and not doing anything about it would be beyond the pale for them. You just don't seem to understand that China is not like America or the UK; things don't work there the same way they work here. For one thing, they're taught to despise western medicine by the CCP, and hold traditional Chinese medicine as superior.

Hhaahahhhaa. What! How did anyone think that was a good idea! Jesus, this woman has a degree in a virology equivalent and was doing active research into the two already existing crossover events. She's either retarded and her credentials are made up or someone else made that call. Was this a decision by upper management? I could see some dickhead who's gotten in charge of the lab via party politics making that sort of call, but a researcher who knew the risks, and understood the risks would have never allowed that to happen.

Those with pets dont worry!

Pets can still be affected by it, hopefully the same treatments for humans can work on them

Though, I think someone emphasized the difference between a treatment and a cure, people will still need said treatment again the future

That's what happens in a country where there is zero effort made to preserve the environment, or to hold business interests accountable for damaging it.

50% of the Chinese population (and these are official statistics, i.e. what the CCP admits to) don't have access to safe drinking water.

I don't see how "upper management" could have been involved. There are less circuitous ways for the CCP to get rid of suspected dissidents.

But as to the thesis of the video - there's the fact that the woman in question seems to have been both unpersoned by the CCP and has vanished off the face of the Earth, with the CCP not revealing her fate or doing anything to counteract the rumours of her having succumbed to the coronavirus.

More in the sense that it seems very believable for some idiot who got a job via politics to make some dumbass decision when a meeting about dealing with the lab animals came up because he/she had no idea what they were doing.

FTFY. Corruption is a way of life in China. I can easily see said political appointee slacking on lab safety and selling surplus test animals to the local market.

Alright, anyone who says this is just the Flu at this point is 100% retarded.

Pneumonia (the leading cause of which is influenza) damages lung tissue as well. Damages more lung tissue in more people and will continue to do so into the future. Influenza can also cause heart damage through things like myocarditis.

The only thing this silly virus has over the flu is that it is new and so herd immunity for it isn't a thing for it yet. So its like three bad flu seasons hitting at once.

Now unless you have posts of you freaking out every flu season as hundreds of thousands of predominantly old and sick people die from it worldwide EVERY year. Perhaps you could keep the scaremongering to a dull roar and not go around slanging off everyone who doesn't join you as a 'retard'.

Anyone wanna bet the video poster is gonna disappear soon?

Hope not, she looks hot.

Apparently the Wuhan biolab even released promotional images of its researchers doing fieldwork in bat caves ... without proper PPE.

EDIT:

Except for SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV, two deadly viruses that have caused outbreaks in the past, coronaviruses have been studied at laboratories that are labelled as operating at a moderate biosafety level known as BSL-2, Ebright says. And, he says, bat coronaviruses have been studied at such labs in and around Wuhan, China, where the new coronavirus first emerged. “As a result,” Ebright says, “bat coronaviruses at Wuhan [Center for Disease Control] and Wuhan Institute of Virology routinely were collected and studied at BSL-2, which provides only minimal protections against infection of lab workers.”

EDIT 2:

Ebright described a December video from the Wuhan CDC that shows staffers “collecting bat coronaviruses with inadequate [personal protective equipment] and unsafe operational practices.” Separately, I reviewed two Chinese articles, from 2017 and 2019, describing the heroics of Wuhan CDC researcher Tian Junhua, who while capturing bats in a cave “forgot to take protective measures” so that “bat urine dripped from the top of his head like raindrops.”

So yes, researchers were being splashed with contaminated fluids.
