Rubbing alcohol, at least 91 proof.

Good for additional disinfectant duties and as a make-shift cooking/lighting source.

Also, stock up on candles and freezer packs. Both are in case the power goes out.

Probably would also be good to get a few items that are not essential, but could be used for barter.

Speaking seriously I am concerned at the infection rate. When it first started I was confident enough standard qurantine protocols will prevent it from spreading but it always comes down to human error and the need to keep the economy going.

Now we have South Korea and Japan fucking up their qurantine and China's mistake has spread the virus to Iran who are now spreading it to other middle eastern countries. Italy too is fucked.

The US has their questionable descisions too allowing that selfish bunch to lie about their health and the state department overall ignoring CDC recommendations that the Donald is angry.

Now I just don't know if some terrorist there will be creative enough to try a bio terrorism plot to spread the virus in Israel if they do understand it's infectious attributes with the whole world to see how infected areas are taking it. Very fucking scary.

If it gets into Gaza it's going to turn into one hell of a petri dish...

Define "decent". Unless you're in the middle of crowds I suppose a mask bought from a local appliances store rated FFP2/3 or N95/P95 ought to suffice. There's also semi-solid masks by 3M and other manufacturers that cover half your face (except the eyes) and have sockets for replaceable filters.

By "decent" I mean something designed to cover the whole face, built for a pandemic, and not made in China; I found this one which might have worked for me:

But the problem is that they're apparently out of filters for the dang thing. The price was also a bit high, but I don't know if that's the sort of cost I should expect for something like this.

Honestly, I'm not even sure we need masks; my parents are retired, I'm unemployed, and it wouldn't take much for us to be able to hole up in our house for months. A couple trips to Costo, Smart Foodservice, and maybe Winco, and we wouldn't need to go out for anything for a long, long time. We bought several months worth of emergency food less than 20 years ago, so I'm sure most of that stuff is still good to eat; just have to make sure we have a decently-sized stock of some staples (flour, rice, powdered milk, granulated potatoes, et cetera), figure out what to do about the water, and we're golden.
