Funny thing is that the convention I am planning on going to in May is insisting on masks and proof of vaccination, even after the city and state they are in dropped such requirements, which up to this point was stated to be their rationale for doing so. Now they're just doing it because they feel like it, I guess.

Rio de Janeiro dropped indoor mask mandates two-three weeks ago. Now the Mayor is begging the Federal government to have the big state-owned enterprises(Petrobras, Eletrobras, BNDES) to go back to at-office work, so that he can get more revenue from the service businesses at downtown Rio. I'd have told him to get fucked, except that he would take that as an invitation.

@Scottty, your hunch was correct. The immune system cannot really tell the difference between a human cell expressing a viral protein and a virus expressing a viral protein. The standard reaction is to eliminate whatever is expressing the foreign protein. If that happens to be heart muscle cells or something else really important, the immune system doesn't care. If the vaccine causes human cells to express SARS-CoV-2 Spike (a.k.a. "human cells as bioreactors"), then neutrophils, macrophages, and lymphocytes will respond to the offending cell as if it were a virus. If the vaccine does not stay in the shoulder, if it transfects cells all over the body with the gene for Spike, the immune system will, in all likelihood, attack those cells.

This is not something the Biden Admin can ignore. I think the heads of cruise lines have done the same in the not to distant past.
My bet is Fauci is allowed to retire, as is his wife from her post, the Biden Admin declares 'victory over the virus' just ahead of midterms, and blames all the 'current' problems on Russia, while ignoring China and the NIH's complicity in the gain-of-function research.

SCOTUS, or more precisely Kavanaugh, won't save us from the Wu Flu insanity, if they are allowing this to go through. Religious exemption, and it's Constitutional basis, is effectively dead for the armed forces, and likely the entire US in general if this trend continues.
You keep assuming we live In a society with rule of law. That is dead, America no longer functions on rule of law most western countries don't anymore because the boomers thought they were so much fucking smarter then their parents who sacrificed everything to give them a better life
