Lowes has cancelled their vax mandate it seems. That's a big domino falling, and now they are going to see a lot of new employment applications.
Edit: They put out the mandate on the 20th, and it seems like some people may still be trying to push it.
Would be good idea to see in the next day or so what the reporting is that shakes out.
Some places may try to advertise as 'cancelling a vax mandate', but not actually rescind the mandate, and just do it to try to get business or employment applications.

tl;dr: This woman's daughter and her boyfriend weren't fucking idiots who rushed out to get the vaccine, despite the vaccinated mother sending her links from the CDC and other bodies (which are as trustworthy as a fucking Chinese businessmen in a slick new suit) and not understanding why her "grounded in reality" daughter wouldn't want to be vaccinated.
She tried to have her daughter and boyfriend kicked out over it, but her husband/the father backed them up. It backfired, though.
So, out of fear, she bailed on her family, living eight miles away. She became a paranoid wreck afraid of crowds, while the daughter and her boyfriend (and her husband/the father) lived their lives without any issues.
Her husband is now dead, and they're re-uniting at the funeral.
Oh, and Trump something something is thrown in there somewhere too, along with the "evil antivaxxer, Right-wing conspiracy theorists!" being against "grounded, Leftist" people.
