Yeah, they have interesting options, many of which involve punting or dismissing on technicalities.

Because all this laws/mandates/etc are about power and control, not safety, and SCOTUS/Roberts want's to preserve the courts 'power/legitimacy' (in the eyes of the Beltway class) more than actually protect the Constitution.

I think they meant civie employees.

That however doesn't change that companies making the vaxs are not actually mandating their own people get them.

It's almost like most measures against Wu Flu are safety theater/power grabs/grifts to get political elites/certain large corpo groups lots of money and power while destroying the middle class.

Again, I have yet to see solid evidence this is a ploy against the middle class.
I am pretty sure Trump and DeSantis got them and are perfectly fine.

The vax's alone may not be directed at the middle class

But the are now the main tool of the groups who do want to reduce the middle class to neo-feudal corporate serfdom and the political elites owned by said corpo's.

If you want to evidence that the elite are using the virus and vax to hit the middle class and transfer it's wealth to themselves, just look at how many small businesses were destroyed via the mandates/laws hastily enacted around the virus, while large corpo's saw their market share increase. Add in the inflation, which large companies can absorb but can gut the savings of middle class and poor people, and very high gas prices, both of which are being caused by policies related to the virus, or at least fig leafed as such.

You keep forgetting the large, wider civil, economic, and social context surround the push for vaxs and the measures being used to coerce compliance, and what the mean for our Constitutional rights/freedoms/liberties.

The problem is I think not the vacine but the open power grab and frankly authoritarian bullshit that surrounds covid. It pretty much demolished the publics trust and i think will lead to more then a few open rebellions with in our lifetimes.

California has received tens of billions of dollars in federal COVID-19 relief, something its auditor says was mismanaged by state agencies and created “substantial risk” to residents.

State Auditor Elaine Howle has released her annual State High-Risk Audit Program report, which maintains a list of potential liabilities in respect to certain departments in California’s state government.

Howle's office warned last August of the potential mishandling of federal COVID-19 relief funds. A year later, she said it’s still an issue and some aspects have become more severe.

“Mismanagement of federal COVID‑19 funds by various state agencies has created a substantial risk to the State and its residents,” she said.

She listed the Department of Finance (Finance), the Employment Development Department (EDD) and the California Department of Public Health (Public Health) as sources of mismanagement.

One aspect of misuse, she said, came in the form of an imbalance in relief funds between more populous counties and predominantly rural counties with fewer people. This, she said, stemmed from issues at the Department of Finance.

“In January 2021, we reported ... that Finance’s allocation of funds from the federal Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) had resulted in smaller counties receiving significantly less funding per person than larger counties,” said the report, which was released Thursday. “Because our review of COVID‑19 case data for all counties showed that the needs of many smaller counties were at least the same, if not greater, than the needs of larger counties, Finance’s inequitable allocation of CRF funds increased the risk that smaller counties’ COVID‑19-related funding needs were unmet.”

The state’s Employment Development Department was responsible for distributing a larger sum of unemployment checks than any other state had in modern history. In the rush to get people funds, the department paid billions of dollars in claims that since have been found to have been fraudulent, Howle said.

“Specifically, EDD waited about four months to automate a key antifraud measure, took incomplete action against claims filed from suspicious addresses, and removed a key safeguard against improper payments without fully understanding the significance of the safeguard,’ the report said.

Unemployed Californians experienced delays and confusion with state distribution of unemployment funds. The U.S. Department of Labor estimated in March that one-tenth, roughly $63 billion, of all pandemic-related unemployment payouts, had gone out improperly.

So they are doing longer term studies of the vax, before it gets 'full' approval.

The approvals out now are 'emergency approvals' contingent on said longer term studies.

This means vaxxed are the guinea pigs of a not truly proven product, that doesn't actually stop the spread, and gets the pharma corpo's nice gov grants and funding, along with allowing the destruction of our civil rights and freedoms by the elite who want serfs, not citizens.
