That's extremely unlikely in the first place, even if the Wu Flu starts running rampant here in the US, it will be a lot harder to cause economic collapse, and a moderate down-turn won't be enough to spoil Trump's chances.
Even if we see an economic collapse, what is it the Dems, especially Bernie, are going to offer as an alternative to Trump? Permanent economic collapse?
It'd hurt Trump's re-election chances some, but it still won't give them anything better than 'Orange Man Bad' to run on, and that's not going to be enough.
Do remember that the US was already steadily disengaging from the Chinese economy before this all broke out. Between massive deregulation internally and the USMCA, all this is going to do is accelerate the process and make it a bit more painful, but in the long term moving manufacturing back to North America is going to help more than it hurts.
