sucide is actually a really bad problem amongst the veteran community.
Yeah, that's what I've been hearing for a year or so now.

I know the VA used to be particularly shit on this topic, and that even among active duty personnel their has been an serious uptick in suicides since the Wu Flu began, maybe even a bit before that.

I think a lot of service personnel are seeing their service and situation as more and more hollow, moot, and even farcical with the way DC has been acting.

Suicide has always been a huge issue with the military.
There is a stigma about going to Behavioral health.
You wont get kicked out anymore if you need help, but people fear it

Which is a shame.

Someone can appear to be the most outwardly with-it person imaginable while there's nothing active upstairs exccept the autopilot and a desire to take a dirtnap.

From what I've heard about the situation on the ground in AK, the divide between those pro-mandate/anti-mandate is pretty stark.

Alaska Air is also a rather...unique US airline, in that their service niche is one no other provider puts much effort into trying to take over.

So what happens in their internals, particularly with the evolving Southwest situation...it will be interesting to see if they suffer any service disruptions not due to normal issues in AK (moose on runway is bigger delay causer than most realize).

"Cowboy up"
"Soldier on"
"Tighten it up"
-all of 'em are used throughout the military and emphasize getting on with the mission despite the hardships, and it's often implied that you need to leave all your personal shit behind or shut up in a box to do that. So many times mission piles on top of mission and leaders often don't force the time to help their soldiers deal with the shit they're carrying around. Then they redeploy stateside and it all hits at once. Then there's the stigma about asking for help with your personal shit, and soldiers (et al) try and go without help on purpose.

A lot of places have started to make it so units have time to spend time and relax and get to be closer to each other

He's a professional immunologist... With a proven history of making stuff about this very specific thing up...

Which means at a minimum you need to show credible people separately backing up his claims.
No.

You have claimed that he has a proven history of making things up. I've linked both his argument (which has sources) and his professional history and credentials.

You haven't demonstrated any validity to your claim that he makes stuff up, you've simply asserted that it is so.

Either present references and evidence, or retract your claim.

Yeah, there's no way it's not getting flooded with spam; especially not after provoking them like that. I mean seriously; trying to dismiss them as nothing more than "white nationalists"? Not only is that cliche as all heck, it makes it clear whoever wrote that cares more about their political ideology than the company they work for; or its customers for that matter.
And it was illogical, too.Becouse nobody could be white nationalist, only white racist. You could be polish, american, french etc nationalist, but not white.

Actually I did, earlier in this thread...

You having the memory of a goldfish doesn't change that fact.
