The second the Biden regime try to use the armed forces to try to force lockdowns and vaccination like Australia is, is the second America is truly dead.
They are trying to force things so they can take complete control with armed forces and strict control over movement/access to goods/services.
But not because they are scared like some like to think; no, the Wu Flu has shortcutted them access to power over most all of society and done a lot to destroy the wealth, and reduce the numbers of, the middle and poor classes.
No, the power in DC and their backers are rather secure after they got away with stealing the 2020 election with the help of their CCP, CDC, and DNC/RNC allies. They feel they have the power and position, with global reach so dissenters have nowhere to flee too, and their Woke Pentagon now sees 'domestic threats' in Trump supporters and really anyone who dares to question the election or the 'science' around the virus issues/vaccines.
Brazil already has 8 year vaccine gulag sentences, Australia has turned into a facist medo-legal security state nearly overnight, and people sound like they think the Biden regime is going to try the same shit here if they think they can get away with it.
And I called this a while ago, that they'd keep the Wu Flu shit going as long as possible to justify anything and everything, instead of returning to normal and just learning to live with it. That way they can affect multiple elections, where they can force unsecure ballot counting practices and effectively stuff the box as many times as they can. As well as possibly granting amnesty to million of illegals in key jurisdictions (why do you all think Catholic Charities are sending people to specific locations?). All they need are a few elections cycles controlled by the Wu Flu 'safety' measures, and they can secure power in perpetuity in the US by just rewriting all the laws using the majorities they assemble and their members in the controlled opposition.
Anyone who thinks there is a good future for Trump supporters, people on the Right or just center in general, or those who do not trust the Wu Flu vaccines have not paid attention very well.
Maybe I'm wrong, and the worst of the Biden and the globalists Wu Flu/Great Reset BS will be stopped cold by a popular backlash they cannot contain, divert, or escape. Maybe this will be s short dark time on our collective history, before true liberty and freedom once again held more sway than fear and authoritarianism in America and much of the world.
However, until that happens, I cannot in good conscience give anyone what might amount to false hope that things are going to get better in our lifetimes, if ever.

Any word on Astra Zeneca's side effects? I mean, people who get it (myself among them) report being completely knocked flat by it for a day or so, but even the internet has been relatively quiet about its side effects recently. It's mostly about Pfizer now.

Astra Zeneca is what most people in Britain (at least, the over fifties) have had. They stopped rolling it out to young uns because of blood clot scare stories (which might have been embellished and politically motivated by the EU). I myself was able to have it and despite being wiped out by it (chills and fever in one night. Good grief) I've yet to report a fatal blood clot. I'm also not getting free 5G signals which the conspiracy theorists promised me, and I'm very upset about it.
Edit: Whilst I'm no expert, as I understand it the AZ jab is closer to a traditional vaccine than the others. It was also made at cost and could be easily stored for distribution to the Third World.
Nope; closest I've got is a derelict paintball gun and some decade old paintballs.
I'd like to own a firearm, but I also know I'd never pass a background check thanks the the long term depression, and the damage done by some early anit-depressents (there were no warnings about giving them to teens or young adults causing suicidal thoughts when I was put on them for years) I've dealt with since I was like 7.
I know a lot about guns, but have no realistic ability to purchase any or gain much realistic experience with them.
If it comes to a actual open civil conflict with uniformed people fighting on opposing sides on US soil, assuming I survive long enough to reach friendly lines, my most useful place in combat would be as a drone controller, not a rifleman.
I'm in my thirties, so I'm not as young as some people having issues with it, but I'm also not old either, and if AZ is causing clot scare issues in young people as well as the asthma/COPD stuff...as I said, in relative terms it is 'safer' than the others, but only above a certain age range.
And also, well, I think I may have had Wu Flu early on and not realized it, because China was lying about the numbers and people still trusted the CDC/WHO numbers/credibility. Like, late Feb of 2020 I got a flu like bug that put me on my back for like 3 days, and gave me a fever for a week, and the regular flu had never done that to me. Even went to the county hospital to get a note for work, because the fever took long to break than I expected.
At the time we thought the Wu Flu was mostly isolated to China, didn't have the whole question of asymptomatic spread brought into play, and I had no reason to think I was dealing with something besides the normal flu. Looking back, knowing what I know now; they found a case in the county barely a week or so later in a ski tourist they could actually link back to China somehow, and there were likely other cases that weren't caught at that point spreading in the area as well. I at least isolated for a week to keep anyone at work from getting it while I was symptomatic, but I think I got it from another coworker who only took a day and a half off and was coughing/sneezing all over the break room.
So I may have an immunity from an early infection anyway; only times I've been tested was a nasal swab for active virus, never had a blood antibody test.

I'm honestly sorry to hear that. I'm probably about ten years younger than you, and whilst I've never quite had depression, I have had unpleasant thoughts. I find hobbies, chocolate and exercise an adequate remedy to it. That aside, perhaps learning a bit of bush craft might be of use? Even if you haven't got a gun, knowing how to disappear off into the wilderness and survive could be bloody useful.
Oh, bushcraft is something I am pretty decent with, and have several accumulated lifetimes of camping gear within easy reach, along with a lot of older, more ruggedly made survival equipment that can stand up to rough use, and knowledge of how to obtain and cook food in the wild if necessary.
Even got myself a gold panning kit to use if we are forced into an old fashioned barter system.

You assume a great deal of honesty, benevolence and competence that does not exist. Soldiers have always and always will be sent on missions that they are not equipped to handle. Given how they are calling a protest turned riot an insurrection, I have no doubt that they will do the same thing to other things if there is marital law.

Zach, I think more highly of the US military than a lot of people you're arguing with, but even so 99.9+% is unrealistic. A lot more people will do as they're told than you might think.
Practically speaking, I'd expect at least 20% will follow orders due to a lack of consciense, courage, or both. For militaries in most other nations, I'd expect a much higher proportion than that.
