Another 293 died from the age of 65 and up, which is rough on the old folks, but for the young (and especially the young and healthy)...

The Pandemic is over. It's not even at the 'Epidemic' level, and it hasn't been for a long time now. Trying to push for continued lockdowns at this point is nothing but naked political gamesmanship.

Never corner an animal. The best way of getting rid of a corrupt elite is simply by booting them out of your country. Let them even take their wealth, as that will incentivise them to bugger off in numbers. They won't come back as they have their valuables and the government in place would be hostile to them. Trap them however, and they will go full retard and cause god knows how much collateral damage. Just look at the mess that was the Roman Republic in its final years.

I know case numbers have gone down, infection is still high, but the deaths are very small now.

So now Fauci is apparently talking about needing to basically redo lockdowns till the vaccines are widely distributed/around the end of 2021.
