China Wuhan Virus Pandemic

Welp, pretty much everything I've said about the virus since March turned out to be correct.

As it turns out, I have relatively decent reading comprehension and those papers meant pretty much exactly what I thought they said. Fancy that.

What are your thoughts on "when does it end?" Because from my perspective, the current spike in US cases is essentially a final burn towards herd immunity that won't take too long to reach. In Europe meanwhile, given that the virus is slowly trailing off even in terms of recorded cases, there's cause for hope that we may return to normalcy sooner than some expect.

I feel, given the rate of decline especially in hospitalisations and deaths, there's a chance of this whole thing being over by Christmas. Indeed, the big reason lockdown has gone on for as long as it has is because our governments don't want to admit how badly they screwed up. Yet, they are still moving, slowly but surely, back to reopening society (at least in Europe. I reckon a lot of America's lockdown woes will wrap up in November when the elections are done. Dear god, the Democrats are cancer) with any new lockdowns being temporary theatrics to make it look like the state is still in control.

What's the reckoning Democrat higher ups are in full damage control mode now? Has Trump retweeted that yet, because he'd be a fool not to.
It happened in May, and AOC deleted it fairly fast once she realized she'd given away the game.

It was gone before Trump had a chance to pounce on it, and the media buried it.

It's still screenshotted and saved in online-archives.
True, but that means Trump cannot use it directly, with Twitter already trying to screw with his tweets because of 'manipulated media' or 'Community Standards' BS.

And with the amount of time that has passed, it would be unlikely to be focused on compared to more current situations.

you know instead of talking about how twitters screwing him over how about he charges them with open election interference? Twittters actions are illegal its time to send the DOJ on them and actually do things instead of just threating them.

I have been thinking the same thing.

It's long passed time that Trump actually took the fight to Silicon Valley, beyond the Section 230 stuff.

Honestly, given the rate they're adding more stuff he can bop them for, his lawyers might be having a hard time keeping up with it all.
Bold strategy of Sillicon Valley. Let's see how it pays off for them.
Joking aside, I suspect that if President Trump wins his second election, he will come down like a sack of titanium bricks on the valley. Otherwise they will never stop their malicious slander of not only him, but the whole republican party.

And Facebook shows it's bias by claiming the tweet is 'False Information' based off Politifacts, which if fucking hilariously biased against conservatives anyway.

After Veritas's exposed FB and this, I have no doubt that they are trying to run top-cover for AOC.

That would be the sensible thing to do. Given that they've lended tacit support to Anti-fa in the past, and he has declared them terrorists, he could execute a near "soft-coup" on that premise. Operating off the Left's own methodology, by mere affiliation (if not a hell of a lot more in the case of the Democrats and BLM) he can corral and arrest most of his foes in one fell swoop (perhaps even on charges of treason by supporting domestic terrorism). Unfortunately, or fortunately, Trump seems a little too restrained for that.

Almost all of the regressive left's strategy relies on their enemies showing far more restraint than them, and playing by their rules; it's why Trump has had so much success combating them throughout his first term, because in many ways he refuses to do so. It's also why they've escalated; because there are still lines he is unwilling, or unable, to cross. For the moment, at least.

If anything, "letting" them rampage is doing wonders for his PR, by showing "The people you vote for your local governments are the douchebags who defend these idiots"

As well as "The people you vote for your local governments, are the very reason you were imprisoned inside your own homes for months and continually imprisoned whilst others were allowed outside"
